What is something you learned last year that you are going to do differently this year?

I intend to go to Waterfest if my schedule allows it. If I do come, I'll be with some Milwaukee guys whose cars will put mine to absolute shame!

I have the 034 Stage IIC stand alone. I've been waiting on parts for the past week, so hopefully fab will start again this week.

    This will decimate all.

The main radiator is mounted. The heat exchanger will be mounted directly in front of the radiator along with the SPAL fan.

    very cool

    UPDATE!

The heat exchanger is now iso-mounted directly in front of the radiator. A SPAL fan provides airflow to both units. A new front bumper cross member was made for improved structural integrity as well as being reinforced to further protect both the heat exchanger and radiator units. The bumper cross member will duplicate the factory mounting points for the attachments points for the bumper cover.

I find my B6 S4 boring when I look at things like this. People do far out things to the B5...I can do nitrous or a supercharger, thats about it. I would imagine a VR6 would be swappable into the B6 as well. I would love to do that if I had the space and equipment to fab parts. I used to work at a tool and die shop and fabricated all kinds of things, but I have a one stall garage right now

I would really like a UrS4 5 banger in my car, but I think it would be too long to fit in there.

Update! The driver's side engine mount/alternator and power steering bracket is complete!

This was the previous starting point for the combo alternator bracket, power steering bracket and the driver's side engine mount.

]Next, is the actual engine mount welded to the plate. Notice the upper alternator bracket.

This is the lower alternator bracket that was just welded onto the main assembly.

A pass through hole was drilled and chamfered to reach the inner bolt connecting the bracket to the block.

All stainless bolts were used on the mount plate and power steering pump front and rear. The alternator
stainless bolts still need to be sourced.

Update! The cooling system fab has begun.

This is the machined waterneck for the cooling system. The ID of the waterneck will be blended by hand so it will be
    perfectly gasket matched.

The water pipe is angled down to clear the 4" downpipe.

This aluminum spigot feeds the interior heater core.

The silicone hose will need to wrapped to protect it from the radiant heat of the turbo manifold.
