I honestly don't know if I will see any shows this year. Alpine Valley is the weekend before ALMS at Road America and that is also a tradition that I value dearly. I don't think I can afford both yet.................

something still doesn't sound right, either the Ross compresser or using it with 2 Tube Screamers is giving his guitar to much mids and it sounds to crunchy and dry. I want it to sound like the tight deep liquid shred machine it used to but maybe this is now and thats the way things are. you would just think by now they would have worked out all the kinks but maybe it the age factor..no offense.

I used to like the music and carefree atmosphere. Now, the (studio) music has gotten boring and too serious. The shows are overrun with yuppies and fratboys/sowhority girls. I still enjoy the live music but, the "scenesters" are getting to be too annoying. 12 years ago I used to have the time of my life completley sober, now I feel like I have to get wasted to have fun. A phriend was begging me to go Toyota feild this weekend and I just didn't want to drop the plans I had to go. Ten years ago I would have dropped everything. I don't even know if I will go to Alpine this year because it is the weekend after ALMS at Road America and I seem to have more fun at that the last few years. I may cruise down there to try and get in for almost free though.

I caught Chicago and Blossom, and had a blast (as usual). Will be at Deer Creek and Alpine in August. Have fun heads.

yes, it appears to be a little buggy but I was able to stream Live Phish radio thru the phone and pipe it into the AUX input in my Golf. Pretty cool

went to philly last night! got in for free, in the back door! missed the bowie opener which i am bummed about, but i got in for free so it is okay. Show was a lot of fun, there were some slow points. Second set was awesome, dark and spacey down with disease, crosseyed and painless, hood, fluffhead, julius, YEM!! Side note: Fishmans vacuum solo into flyers chant and Mike murdered it last night. Overall tons of fun
