    Good evening Folks,
Anyone have an extra for Utica on 10/20? I won 2 in the lottery but need another for a friend. I only have cash.
    Thanks,
    Brian

    From today's Worcester Telegram-Gazettte ...

"Phish to perform 2 shows at DCU

By Richard Duckett TELEGRAM & GAZETTE STAFF
    rduckett@telegram.com

WORCESTER _ The eclectic rock band Phish will perform two performances at the DCU Center Dec. 27 and 28 as part of a five-show tour it is staging for New Year’s week. Tickets, which are $60, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 10.

Included in the ticket price will be a free MP3 download of the entire show. Redeemable at LivePhish.com, the downloads will be available within an hour of the band stepping off stage.

Phish’s upcoming 2-DVD set, “Coral Sky,” will be released Oct. 19. The album captures Phish’s entire Nov. 2, 1996, performance at Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Fla. The two-and-a-half hour plus concert is widely considered to showcase some of the most unique and compelling playing of the band’s career.

Founded in 1983, with a couple of break-ups along the way, Phish has defied the need for conventional mainstream exposure by developing a highly loyal following for its often experimental mix of alternative rock, jazz fusion, jam rock and psychedelic playing that’s probably best experienced live. A Phish concert has been described as “a catharsis of sound, with band and audience riding together on a tidal wave of beautiful noise.” Tickets for the Dec. 27 and 28 shows will be available at the DCU Center Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, by phone at (800) 745-3000 and online at ticketmaster.com."

    to that.

Not really interested in what the band is doing of late though. Playing is tight but no chances are being taken any more. No envelopes being pushed.

EXACTLY!! why in the f are they not playing all those songs off Tre's first solo album"Push on till the day", "Drifting" ect. and the songs off Page's solo album Vida Blue "CJ3" and all that, it's like they quit progressing. i understand their trying to start over and play straight rock like 88-90 and make it built to last this time and it must suck trying to let it all out and "jam" sober, i mean whats rock and roll without sex and drugs but you know what i'm saying. We miss the old digital space funk!

I hope they pick up the tempo for MSG. Both Worcester shows were very mellow and dare I say slow?

This is why I didn't go to any shows this year. Last year at Alpine was very lackluster and uninspired. It seemed like they were phoning it in.

I had the best time at alpine this summer. Made me believe again.

FYI. If anybody's looking I have every set this year and will have the complete year... In a few days

I dunno, maybe I'm jaded after 10/30/10. That was the best show I've ever seen them play. It will take a LOT to top that.

The rest of the summer shows I saw were pretty darn good. I suppose Trey being sick this week contributed to the "slowness"

I am not saying that they don't have it in them, it was just the worst shows I had seen. Maybe I was let down because they always seem to bring out all the stops for a special weekend like that.
