Heard it was a great show. Was lucky enough to motivate on Saturday night and hopped the A Train to the garden and scored a ticket, 1-1-11 show was pretty amazing, a night of many firsts for me, and very much looking forward to catching some shows in 2011.

I was pleasantly surprised at the HoB show he did last year in Boston. Sound was good, lights were good, and the band played well. Easy in and easy out of the venue. Laid back all around

    SUMMER TOUR HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

Would post but the office interweb sux!

    June 10 Camden
    June 11 & 12 Merriweather

    Lottery until 3/3

    Good luck!

  19. 02-22-2011 03:34 PM #89
Follow this for the tour dates, and to enter the lotto:

    http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/

I am disappointed with the venues, specifically that they omitted Hartford, CT this year!

This leaves the Tuesday Mansfield, MA show as the only one within a 3 hour drive.. meh..

But I do have great luck with the lotto, so I'll be putting in for Mansfield, Bethel, Holmdel, and Camden.

yes I'm not happy no Hartford. I hate getting into and out of that place but we have a VIP sponsorship thru work.

    And no SPAC?

might be attempting to see them at Blossom in Cuyahoga Falls, OH... but $60 for tickets while not bad at all, is still steep for the venue...

We actually like going to the Hartford Civic Center (old enough not to call it the XL Center) because it is so easy to get in to, park, and get out of. Where do you usually park?

article on the NJ shows: http://www.nj.com/entertainment/musi...ersey_amp.html.

Nan came home last night and said that she was listening to radio stations that Chris mentioned when he stopped over Sunday night while you were at the show in Boston. Nan said that the DJ said a Phish sone was coming up. She kept the station on and said that it actually wasn't all that bad.

Edit: No, that does not mean I'll be going to a show any time soon.

Summer tour = outside. They have been playing at the Comcast Theatre, previously known as The Meadows Music Theatre.. one show in 09, two there last summer.. none this year. lame.

Even if I took the SS Badger, I still don't think it would save any time. It would get us out of the car for a while though.

I checked where that is on the map. Looks like parking would really suck, if all traffic has to use the one road to get back to I-91.

The venue in Holmdel, NJ is nice.

The good thing about taking the ferry over to Ludington is you get to avoid that s**t traffic in Chicago... I think it's like 4 hours across, isn't it? Gain an hour coming over, lose one heading back. Hear it's pricey, though. Like a couple hundred bucks for 2 people and a car.

Paul I was talking about "The Meadows". In 2009 I found out that we have an office location across the street so I was able to park in the lot for free with my ID. Last year we got our corporate box and the VIP parking/access that came with it. That's the way to do it for sure!

It isn't cheap that's for sure. I remember taking it on the way back from Boston in the late 1980s
and it was long boring trip. Now I am sure they have WiFi and stuff ao it wouldn't be too bad. I think they have a bar onboard too.

Yes, that's exactly the problem. One road to a majority of the available parking, combined with the fact that it's right outside downtown and you have to deal with rush hour traffic.. getting IN is much worse than leaving.. But once you're there, it's a great place to see some muzak..
