Thread: Phish 2013

Essex was hands down the best they have sounded and looked in 10 years, except for a few songs from the modern era it was basically like a late 90's show. Def had the 30 somethings in mind with that setlist. Way to go!!!

10 years? I certainly do not agree with that assessment but to each his own

a little late but Essex was awesome, was able to hear the soundcheck from my friends backyard 1/2 mile away, not sure if anyone has hear the recording of the soundcheck but it is some of the best playing they have done since they came back. See you guys in NYC!

I got dissed in the lotto!!! Literally the first time ever that I haven't gotten tickets for at least one requested show

Guess I'll be ticketmaster saturday noon.. 10 min from my house, much better luck there than the online cluster****

Didn't wake up in time to head to the ticketmaster location.. tried online/phone, and of course, failed miserably for the 30th and 31st

yes and tix are like 250 for the worst seats in msg for the 31st...I may just go for it and buy it though, I dont want to go all the way up to NYC and only see phish once, especially if that once isnt the nye show. I lucked out and got 30th in the lotto but still need to get 31st...crappy and expensive...

No Hartford, no happy. But Worcester, SPAC, Jones Beach are all close enough that I'll definitely catch 2 or 3 shows.

somehow, I was actually able to get tix to blossom in the livenation presale on friday, and then saturday morning I went to buy th eCincy tix and even though they went on sale at 10AM there was only lawn available. I tried getting pavillion later that night at like 9ish and I was able to??? So I scored pavilion tix for both shows, so stoked!

Really pissed im going to miss Pit though as its my hometown and they always rock the s hit out of Starlake...

I'll be picking up my deluxe Pollock edition of Junta tomorrow morning. Worth every penny just so I can subject unsuspecting shoppers to Sanity later tomorrow sometime between 6-8pm.

Growing up in college in the south in the mid 90's, I had to have my hands on every Phish CD, bootleg, etc. Had the rainbow Phish Sticker on the back of my SUV, and listened to it all the time at the fraternity house in college (yeah yeah, I know, I was the Phish-head, frat-guy-minus-the Chocolate Lab-stereotype )

God it's been so long since I even threw on a Phish album. Literally years. But I'll always remember where I was and when I heard my favorite songs.

"Fast enough for you" - Fort Bragg, NC June 1996
"The Wedge" Sharpsburg, GA car ride mid 95
"MCJV" off a bootleg, Seaside, FL 1996

I kept up more with Widespread Panic than I did with Phish, but they were diffenitely a big part of being young in College and just starting my career

I have extra lawns for SPAC, and probably an extra 3x AC. anyone?
