Somebody mentioned that one in my old thread. Sounds hard to miss, but I still haven't run into it yet.

A few I forgot to post, and a couple random shots from VT as well:

MrMook, I was about to say, "hmm, that looks like Brooklyn" and then I saw your sig. You in Williamsburg?
#46
Technically I live in Greenpoint, but I spend a lot of time in Williamsburg, too.

A lot of these are totally unremarkable (trucks/jeeps) ... guess it all depends on where ya live!
That rolling shot is definitely the hottest Forrester I've ever seen.
don't ever see Alfa Milanos though. my fav. Italien car of all time (and I hate 4-doors ... )
(wait, forgot about the F355. So #2, for sure).
whoa
f**k!!
that had to have been another truck, if not a train ... or perhaps a bridge.
And this has to be an intentional decoy, right?
I can't imagine it doesn't get tagged at least once a day!
lastly
Generally I don't like old/rusty cars one bit (with the exception of old buses/benzos I'm firmly a late-70s+ Euro guy), but damn, something about that Galaxie is so cool .. I'd roll in that any day.
minus the front seat I just noticed .. and maybe not on a rainy day
Must evoke high school memories, cruising in a Comet ...
*hits up WikiPedia to learn about the 3rd-Gen Galaxie*
nice thread
Wish I had an upload spot, got my own share of sightings, tho my camera phone quality isn't worth sharing.

Man, I live in Bushwick and I think I've seen at least half of these cars around Greenpoint/Williamsburg.
Also, I saw that Citroen crusing over the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan a few months ago. I was like:![]()

Yeah, one day I saw that little Citroen breezing down Reade St in TriBeCa. They really do drive it a lot. The interior looks pretty "used" as well, so it's no garage queen.

Cant believe how many older cars there are. You never see them in my area.

Great thread!
Here's a couple of shots I took a few months ago about 4 blocks from my house. The damn thing was just sitting there in the middle of the street. I don't know if it had broken down or what.

haha, I've seen those guys with the Accord wagons working on them in the street. That's right by the Wburg bridge, right? They had them up on jacks and were messing around with things.
Also, there's a Mazda RX-3 on Flushing Ave. as you head east towards 495. It's red and looks pretty clean; parked right out front of an auto salvage yard.
Also, I live right down the block from a metal recyclers where old cars are dropped and discarded right in the street for them to lift with a front end loader and dump in the crusher. Two weeks ago I saw an early 80's 745 (the turbo one) in the middle of our street. This week? A Rolls Royce convertible. Rusted to pieces, but still...
