Thanks guys. Just off Cherry st. at Lakeshore.

Honestly they could be much better, but it was ridiculously hot out for how late it was, my stamina sucks ass and West Nile was killing us all

Even though it's my own car, this was my favorite:

I'm not gonna even bother commenting on Matt's pics. We all know they're good.

Few more updates on the blog.

As for the shoot. We'll try to get something set up in and around JJB. If not the Baseball diamond idea was always intriguing.

We'll also have lot's of stickers on hand.

Here's to hoping a good portion of the S.C. can make it out to JJB.

Here's a question for Gil or Dave:
Would I be able to get a sticker made up that says "support vehicle"
In the same font as scraped.crusaders. but a little smaller?
To go under the sticker here:
      VolksWagen: Bis Zum Bitteren Ende

HAHA, I had to read that a few times to know what was going on.

      Mike, consider it done.

Nice little cruise down lakeshore/woodbine with the legacy the other day, did you get a close enough look at that "filthiest" sticker??

Had some free time yesterday. Had a set of 17s sitting around and had never test fitted them after lowering the car a bit. Put them on, went for a spin and washed them up. Sucks that they're multi-lug and the rears need some spacing but I don't HATE them.

Yeah they fill the wheel well but it looks much higher. The plan was to test them, take a few pics, clean them up, make sure they were still balanced and sell them on Kijiji or C.L.

They're still on the car as we speak but I'll more than likely switch back to the OEMs in the next day or so...

They're 4 bolt. I thought one of the tires was bad/wheel unbalanced. Pulled it off and the hubcentric ring wasn't there. Awesome. Searched around and found it. Now they at least ride smooth.

On an unrelated note. Is there a Yorkdale meet on Sunday morning to head to JJB?

    19. 06-20-2010 10:46 PM #144
So last thursday, I headed down to the region of Durham, in hopes to get together and shoot with you guys. But no dice... I then figured I'd get some shots in of the Jetta while I was in the area.

Fast forward all the pointless driving, and I am now at Deer Creek Golf Club/Course. Beside the driveway to this place is a small Hydro field, with 3 rows of towers and lines. And just back from the road, theres big ol' pile of dirt and and bumpy trail leading up to it.

I pulled in and parked the car. Took acouple natural light shots, but the sun was down and losing light fast. So I figured I'd set up my lights. I unloaded my gear, set up the light stands, lights. Ran the cords... When i was adjusting the height of the light stands though, I got a low vibration in that ran through my hands... I got more sketched out when I went to get my tripod out of the car and it did the same thing.

I then put the pieces together. That 'hum' you hear from the wires makes metal object feel funny...

I said screw it, im not gunna blow $hit up by turning on my vagabond. So I packed up and left for home.

Moral of this story, Dont shoot under hydro wires, I'm pretty sure that current can mess stuff up.

Let me know when you guys are in the Toronto area for a photoshoot, wouldn't mind some night shots

@glx2.8...yup saw the filthiest sticker. You're also up on the blog now.

@blackjettah...good call on the OEMs. These rims are nice but +1 too big. Legacy would have looked the same if I had gone with 17s. Don't understand how some people run 18's on my car.

@mikejoe...at least you got one badass pic

@Alex...we'll get you hooked up with stickers no problem. Returning customer discount. Also facebook profile pic.....ballin outta control.

@beatmilk...will do, but setting up a shoot is sometimes hard. Most are on a whim or after a meet. But we'll try to post info up regardless
