Anybody know where I can get a decent deal on a set of mk4 votex base bars?

Not every MkIV needs to be even this fast but when a car is so low it looks broken and has more money in the wheels (with huge rear wheels no less) than the car's KBB it just doesn't make sense.

we can either take a guess and reserve for that time
or wait till august for this mother fvcker to update his site

yeah it didnt happen till later that night, trav runs out to do something and barely gets to our road when it just quit. i had to go out in our subaru and tow it back. we get home and find the snap ring or something just laying on my skidplate. the shop where i got it isnt open today, of course! so i have to wait til tomorrow to get them to replace it.

Yeah supposedly OC residents have been complaining that VW kids all suck and cause trouble but the way I see it is... How can they really stop VW owners from being there? ... Yep that's what I thought

well if that's the case, may as well stop senior week, muscle car week, subaru week, and whatever else they do down though

    on another note
i was at arbys today, got ready to go and i notice my ESP light isn't lit anymore
so i try to press the button, nothing happens
i press it a couple more times and the backlight of it looked like it was trying to light up, but didn't
so i drive like 20 feet and i notice my traction control light is on in my dash, like i pressed my ESP button
and just as i was telling my passenger about it white smoke pours out my air vents
    smells fvckin terrible
so i shut my car off
turn it back on, my ac isn't working anymore
i would think it's my heater core, but the fan isn't working at all, hot or cold
still kinda smells like ****, almost like burning coolant or something
and the fan won't work on any of the speed settings
    any ideas?
before i go spend $300 on a blower motor

H2oi is always the last weekend in September. Don't be surprised that no date has been posted yet as its the case every year and it probably will not be posted till end of August. And every year people start rumors that the show is canceled. From past experiences the show is going to happen.

nah it happened at like 9:30 so it was dark and i didn't feel like checking fuses in the dark
    i'm looking at it tomorrow
i seriously can't take anymore problems with my car
i'm honestly starting to regret buying a vw now..atleast an early mkv vw

can anyone refer me to a shop i can take my car to
    whatever the distance
just want quality work and not get raped for it at the same time
i wanna take it in to get MULTIPLE things fixed
possibly take a couple days to diagnose everything
i.e. windsheild washer pump, radio problems(probably just buy a new radio), heated O2 sensor problem, my hvac problem, timing/acc. belts replaced, maybe even have my clutch checked out

may as well get it all done at once i guess
i'll be owing someone a lot of money

Paul E. Witmer's garage in Ephrata is a place I highly recommend! Here's their address:

    41 East Mohler Church Road
    Ephrata, PA 17522

    (717) 738-1157 ‎

You can call in there and make an appointment, but there is a high chance they won't be able to get you in for another 2-3 weeks.

For reference, they did timing chains (everything involved with that), clutch (including pressure plate and throw out bearing), oil pan, tranny fluid, inspection, emissions, front brakes, ebrake cables, and a few other things for a grand total of $1700!! It's a ton of cash to me, but for the hours of labor and extensive maintenance they did, that is an insanely good price!!!

They charge $45/hr and $55/hr if they are installing customer parts. I recommend checking them out!

i could give you lots of shops that i trust, but theyd all be in de lol if you find for some reason that you want to do it out of state let me know and ill send you all the info. i **** with at least 3 dif shops and they all specialize in vw/audi. to be honest tho, it kinda sounds like your having enough issues that if i were you id try to get into ngp. at least they absolutely know what thier doing.

piston rings, rods, and Calico coated bearings should get done next. then when it's back together we'll be running the lines and bolting stuff up.

and you are correct, sir. it is a SAI block off plate. it passes emissions because the car is driven less than 5,000mi./yr. i got it in 2006 with 48,000mi. on it, and it has 74,000 on the clock now.
