Personally I think Minis are badass. Yes S4s are amazing and I want one but I respect Neil's choice hes expecting a child and needed more room even though he only has 3 doors now

Track days are few and far between, bags are an efficient way to get the look you want, but drive daily without risk of ripping off oil pans... Unless you don't air up

To each their own, Dan. No need to blow up the thread by calling out Neil's decision as a "downgrade"

Trust me i can afford them. Just dropped over 2k in suspension and braces alone plus other parts and bought a mkiii in the same week. So money is not the reason there over rated in my opinion there chief that was just a dumb comment. As far as tracking some of us like to drive spirited and also some of us like to have "weekend warriors" not a car that can look good sitting but not function as well. I would rather drive a smashed rusted out car with a built motor over a show car that can barely move out of its own way. You can use your same analogy for bags though. How many times are you realisticaly going to raise and lower your car with bags other then when your parked and showing off that you can push a button? Anyone i know with bags drives as low as they did with coilovers therefor making it pointless.

Dan I understand your point. Your a speed guy. I loved my S4 but it wasn't practical by any means. And what's the hate on bags. The reason for bags is that I do t bash my pan on a nice car. Plus they ride nice. And who said you can't have a fun drive on them? YouTube it. Google it. Talk to someone about it. I've ridden in a few bagged vehicles and we've had our fun. But there not as unreliable as you say.

But let's stop bickering because it's just stupid. Opinions will be opinions. To each there own as its said.

But I'd take a MINI over a GTI

Dan I disagree about the pointless part about bags I think they serve a good purpose for the fact that if you need to raise up you can but I see where your coming from

huh? I did. I got an insurance check for more than I bought the car 3 yrs ago, then I bought it back and sold it to Oscar (Orau22) and made more money back on it.

Just found out that damages to my mk4 are $6,350.00 n they are fixing it because it missed the total lose by $300. So now I don't know if I'm gonna keep it and pay it off or trade it in as soon as I get it back

oh wow. The damages to my mk4 were $6300 as well, except it exceeded the total loss by alot AND the frame and subframe were bent.

    Good luck

Stupid insurance company.. Just wait for the body man to do his tear down and find another $1000 in damages. It'll definitely happen, might be too late to total it by then tho I hate insurance adjusters
