Kind of a side thing for t4t

    11am-3pm on 11/7/2010
    351 Loucks Road York PA

PetSmart parking lot on the corner of Louck's Rd (Rt 30) and Pennsylvania Ave in York
It will be a little GTG. Park the cars, flash a little VW pride and collect some monies for the tots.

Last year Mike Grady got a few people together and they gathered together at the PetSmart parking lot on the corner of Louck's Rd (Rt 30) and Pennsylvania Ave in York to collect money to buy toys for the Toys 4 Tots cruise. They gathered around $500 and with that they were able to go to Ollie's to buy a ton of toys for the kids.

Looks good I'm sure it takes corners much better. Glad i'll be seeing the mk3 lower around campus as well

I like Witmer's for basic oem repairs since they only charge $40/hr, but haven't gone there since they effed up my coilover install ....and then made me rip my stickers off my windshield and raise my coils for inspection last year

It handles super smooth and really tight. but i'll be going slower through campus now that my overall ride height is 1.6-1.8 inches down....my control arms are like 3.5 inches off the ground

they made you take stickers off?! wow. thats kinda stupid. well, they are of the Mennonite denomination...so they must have something against stickers etc..

did i hear you were selling your fat fives in the spring...?

yeah since they're Mennonite I think they tend to be a little more strict and 'go by the book' per say. Glad to hear the suspensions running tight though man. nicee

But yeah i'm possibly going to be selling my fat fives in the spring/early summer if i can get a decent job and have the $ for these other wheels I have my eye on. Were you looking into a set?

ive been lookin at them for a while..i like how 'fat' they are lol

are there sets of 18" fat fives? or are they only 17x8...? i dont even know they're actual specs. lol but i do really like the look of them!

ive always wanted to get aristos for my jetta...idk what it is about them, but aristos look sick on jettas. esp now that im lowered, i wanna get my hands on a nice set of wheels

I understand your predicament. It's all just personal preference when it comes to wheels. Aristos are nice too, i've just always been partial to the fat fives cause i think they fit the lines of the corrado really well. Just looking to move on a little bit. but yeah they're only 17" unless you get the newer fat fives off the new a6 i believe it is. On mine the et is right around 36, obv bolt pattern is 5x1. I use 5mm spacer in front, 15 in rear. They are in real nice shape. No curbage or scuffs whatsoever. rlly clean even inside the barrels too. If you ever want pics etc. i can post some of the stance etc. Or just come to the toys for tots cruise Btw let me know if you know any places that are hiring

Gotta get back to studying psych

not last night, no. I was a few days ago though. easiest way to spot me coming is the euro turns (amber bumper turns).. that seems to grab enthusiasts first.

Last night I was enjoying my new found light at the shop, stayed till 9 and really started getting some **** around there done. (I use the rear portion of the warehouse we work out of it and out of the 30 light bulbs, a solid 28 were dead.. so I bought a case of lights)

28 of 30 dead? Can't wait to see how your car turns out though. Were due for some serious b5's. A good buddy of mine (ChrisPop) is sloowwwwllllyy piecing together his b5 2.8. He just got done in a black s4 int. from a salvaged s4 he got his hands on, and its always good to see progress.

    btw you going to t4t?

is your friend the one with the black 2.8 down on may post office road?

no, im' not going to t4t.. i only like about 5 ppl from cepa. I am going to the DCI t4t, its a much better hang out, imo.

hahah it seems like so many people feel this way. I really don't talk to any of them either. Maybe 2-3 guys. The DCI t4t seems to get some nicer cars too, I just don't feel like dealing w the drive down to Philly

is your friend the one with the black 2.8 down on may post office road?
yeah thats true, I'm just not in w the b5 family so i prolly wouldn't know a lot of them. I wish the one above^^ wasn't on reps but it still looks really really nice. good example of a car which pulls off the clear corners/rs4 mirrors great. paint looks mint too

As for Chris I have no idea how you know where he lives .. i've been good friends with him for years and he has a ton of parts around. He just doesn't have the money to do what he wants to since he's hunting/in the process of getting a job right now, but he has big plans though

my day job is installing insulation.. we know every back road and every back way to anywhere.. lol we take 896 to may post office when we have to goto a neighborhood in quarryville that we do work in when they are building there.

reps or reals, to me its all about if they still make the car look good, i dont care if they say Gucci or Wrangler on them. You know what I mean?

I want a Rado bad. My co-worker has a friend who has a white one he cant get running or figure anything out with it. Thing is, he's the typical guy in lanc city, so its probably in some trashy shop being hacked together.. Ihope not, he said the car was amazingly clean.

and yea, you wont find many ppl who likes anyone at cepa... as for DCI, its super easy to get to from here.. I meet up with Nic (owner of blue car, he lives down south of chrispop).. and we take 1 up to 322 to 95, then get off at the exit and you're there.
    Who knows...

i used to be a big sneaker fan and i grew up to hate fake shoes, so i guess that kinda transferred into my car taste.. i dunno. but i really shouldn't be talking cause i have fat fives and could barely tell they were reps with the red centers anyway

    you obviously buy a corrado

haha thanks again. i came through Millersville over the weekend with her but don't remember seeing you around. As far as toys for tots, you wouldn't miss the cruise to the military base to drop off the toys.... and you'd see some of the gtg at penn national since its typical they leave late.

If it ends up a no go you could always go to the t4t event the next weekend at FDR Park that 99Blacka4 was talking about ^^^
