Thread: BFI - Mk4 JOM Coilover Kits **$449.00**

  1. 06-14-2010 04:10 PM #1

High guality at a low price - These MK4 specific JOM suspension coilover kit allows adjustment of 20-60mm (.75"- 2.36") drop in the front and 20-60mm (.75"- 2.36") drop in the rear. A great choice for the budget minded enthusiast - fully height adjustable suspension for the price of a cup-kit.

Strut mounts and bearings are probably all you would want to replace while you are in there, however every situation is unique so make sure you check the car over well before beginning the job

Hey i'm wondering if there is any way to buy just the front perches (if that's what they're called - adjustment rings) for these coilovers?
    Thanks,
    AZ

Fantastic question You can put these on your Mk4 GLI with great success.

Many JOM products have been very popular amongst the VW crowd for many years and these coilovers are no exception. This is due to their excellent fitment and good value for a well performing and hard to find product.

hi there, im just curious if everything needed for a complete swap is included in this kit? What i mean is, i wouldnt have to buy any other parts to complete this installment...?

$449 for a complete coilover kit is a great price

does a warranty come with these?

You can bolt this kit on without modifying or changing anything. Depending on how much you choose to lower your car, and what swaybar your vehicle is equipped with determines if further modifications are necessary.

Yes they can be run on your VR6 Jetta wagon. The only thing you should keep in mind is your setup is going to be a bit heavier than the rest of your MK4 counterparts so going really will run the risk of bottoming out due to a "softer a spring rate".

Do you have any of these left and what type of spring rate do they have also do they adjust top and bottom when lowering or is it lowering by spring compression?

We do have these in stock and ready to ship. Unfortunately JOM does not disclose any of their spring rate information. And to answer you last question the are lowered by spring compression.
