I know he is trying to sell them though. Think he wanted like $550 or something like that. Tires were almost new. Just some minor oxidation on the wheels.

Not necessarily willing to sale, that's why the price is higher than the books. If someone buys it, then I'll be on the hunt for a late C5 Z06 or an early C6 Corvette.

This is my car and I've owned it since it was new. I'm not sure the general market will appreciate the extras. The TDI performs really well with the van Aaken Smart Box. The Golfs didn't come with leather as an option, so I added the Katzkin. I really like the car but I wanted to go electric so I just got a Nissan Leaf. I'll go back to VW when they come out with an electric model. I would keep the Golf because it is a really fun car but I can't justify owning and insuring two cars. As I mention in the ad, I just had Wrench Werks inspect it and it is in good shape mechanically. I'm also throwing in some VW racks and a Ross Tech cable.
