    when it was freshwater:

    now saltwater:

im pretty tired of saltwater. The coral and stuff was cool and the fish are beautiful/WAY more interesting, but its to much hassle and work and money. we had a snowstorm and lost power for 3 days and everything died and now nothing will go right. im thinking of taking it down and going back to fresh so i can stop spending a **** ton of money and actually enjoy it.

Some great looking tanks in here, I currently have 3, a 10G for my kids with a Gourami and 4 cories, a 29G with a single angel and BN pleco, and a 55G with a pair of angels, BN pleco, and black and regular neons. There are also 5 weather loaches in there currently, but I am likely to try and trade them in soon.

I keep thinking of moving the angel and BN from the 29G into the 55G, but am then not sure what I want to do with the 29G. Would like to try something different in there though.

Let's bring this back to life, I have been looking for a fish thread.

I recently setup up a 36 gallon freshwater tank with 7 Red Bellies. They grow extremely fast, and are already outgrowing this tank. I am going to try and get down to 2 or 3. So if anyone is interested and local to NJ, I am getting rid of a few for very cheap.

Anyway, here is my setup, I am going to be changing things up quite a bit, have a bunch of anubias coming on thursday to get in there, and going to make this a much more comfortable tank for the Red Bellies.

I am currently getting ready to set it up with the anubias so it looks like this temporarily.

^ Give those red bellies carrots or zucchini if they start chewing. I had two as a kid and they would eat heaters and filter intakes like crazy. The LFS said toss some chopped carrots in there and they will stop. Surprisingly it works.

Finally got my anthelia quarantined to a small plug, taking it to the LFS when I get a chance. It was taking over the tank. Much like xenia, if you can get it to grow, it gets out of control. I was having to prune it weekly to keep it from smothering my entire rock stack. Also added some orange and green zoa's and discovered a hitch hiking gorilla crab. Tank has been set up for almost 6 months now, it is pretty good at hiding I guess. Now to catch him with the mason jar trick will be another story.

Got a tank for christmas and set it up and let it cycle. Just bought 4 tiger barbs and a dwarf gouramis. Love this as a hobby and its so cool to watch them. Picked up a 46 gallon bowfront with accessories and stand for 150. Cant wait to move into my own place and get it set up.

Here are my 2, one is a 55G with a male angel (not showing his colors that well as he was not happy with me pointing a camera at him, he usually has a solid black bar), black and regular neons, pair of bolivian rams. The other is a 29G with a male and female angel, the female looks a bit beat up as she was in with the other male who literally beat the crap out of her.

The crap on the water is food, I had just fed them. Along with the fish I also have a crap load of pond and ramshorn snails hitch hikers from plants. I had planned to turn the 29G into a brackish tank with a puffer and feed it the snails, but could not get the angels to get along.

Hmmm I apparently cannot see my pictures, hopefully others can.

Wow, the tank has really tanken off in the last couple months. I had to move, lost a lot of corraline in the process and i redid my rocks. Moved most of the corals higher up in the water. I also purchased a green bubble tip and sebae clown and was lucky enough to get them to pair. Sometimes the clown gets confused and tries to host my hammer frag.
