Damn I wish I noticed this thread earlier... Could have offered ya one tip. You can disconnect the wiring harness at the ECU, and feed the passenger side of the engine harness and the ECU connectors up thru the firewall/rain tray. Eliminates the need to cut the rain tray like you did and you don't have to worry about trying to feeding the driver's side portion of the harness down thru the tray. I got everything thru a 1.5" hole.

    Nice work so far

does removing the SAI pump throw codes? i would assume it would, but i wanted to remove mine on my 2.0 because unlike yours mine is right in front of my manifold, its a eye sore and with the new engine work, i need the room.

yes you need resistors + you need a "tuner" to remove the code from the ecu

Humm...i was wondering why this topic changed in my watched topics. So have you cleared your head and gone from "what the 'H' 'E' double hockey sticks was i thinking" to a more solid actual build up?

This will be fun to watch the progress, even though this is probably something i won't get to

today, I was supposed to get the coolant bottle out of the way at least, and i did not even get that done..Ended up running some errands. Got a new valve cover gasket, come coolant, and resprayed the valve cover..

You can guess what the valve cover will match in the picture above
