Zinni - police have become too hard, If you're a stranger , they looking at the little things , for example , looking how the car is low , is wheel sticking out and many other details. The ticket penalty are so high. I agree that anyone who is causing problems should be punished, but also could be a slightly softer on guys who driving slowly a low car with a wide rims and no causing any problems . Should have a little more tolerance , such things causes the more demages for the whole event and the show

I think that with these procedures, will only chase people away. People from away country will wonder ? event and show each year will be the smaller

car is amazing but i do think the car should be a little higher. its so clean and the oil cooler is inches from the ground makes me nervous

The flywheel , clutch and breaks are mounted



The silicone hose ( I could not watch that old, wrapped in adhesive, but he had a function perhaps better than this new )



I took of the entire exhaust system, incuding the headers. Exhaust system was the weakest point on my car ( cooked many times, upgraded etc... )
The system was 4-2-1 headers ( 38mm 4 tubes , 45 mm 2 tubes , and 55mm the rest )
On this engine set-up , it was restrictions, car did not breathe properly



The new system will be 4-1 header 42 mm tubes , and 60 mm the rest all in inox

header protect against heat, this means significantly less the temperature in intake maniflod , ( because the inatke maniflod is above the exhaust )





now follows the mounting, with this exhaust system the car will breathe properly

The exhaust system is mounted, few days ago. I have instal the maniflod at home , the rest exhaust is monted at exhaust-mecanic, so car could not drive on the road...

G60 gray injectors are 319 ccm on 3 bar frp , i was on 3.5 bar frp ( 341 ccm - tested ) I noticed that on 68mm pullye at 7000 rpm car does not have enough fuell, the exhaust and sparks are bright color, so i by 360 ccm injectors ( nissan 350 z ) on 3 bar frp

Now the engine has completly stage 4+

Engine spec. is :

- 68 mm pullye
- P3RS custom chip ( SLS )
- RS2 G-lader ( SLS )
- 256/276 schrick cam ( SLS )
- good head work ( port & polish ) intake maniflod and throttle body
- 4-1 hedears and 60 mm line with 2 mufflers
- 360 ccm injectors
- 6.3 kg lighter fly wheel
- baypass ventil
- 82 mm copressor intake
- k&n air filter
- 10 row oil cooler

should be enough for 230-240 bhp and 300 nm

the fabric of the carpet is the same as the seats. Yours looks black on the photo.

99,9% sure your car is a ordinary Golf GTi G60. And not a wolfsburg edition one G60.

The car is original GTI G60 with LA9V briliant black paint ( wich is serial cames on edition one ) so i decidet to make the edition one ( since i could not the find original ed1, i had luck that i found oem GTI G60, that toy is so rare in my country), so I bought a 16v original Edition One and all edition details transfer on G60. The blue carpet does not match from the 16v into G60 (because of raised the center tunnel )I'm still looking for the original blue carpet from G60

Can you present us yours original Edition one , to see that beauty ...

Those are the only ones that have the mauritsius blue carpet with high tunnel.

pvl16vg60- cant see tehe Edition One badge on the hood, the original front grill, the audi door handle, rear lights ... my only missing the blue carpet ( it looks that mine is more like the oem ed1 than yours )

Personalising doesn't mean the car suddenly isn't a REAL wolfsburg-edition anymore...

Don't try to get your value up due to putting stuff on the car that it didn't came with, originally.

Thats a proper rip-off when you try to sell the car as a real wolfsburg-edition later-on, which ain't a real one, but the buyer payed for one..... Because you will advertise it as one...

And your engine-mods are also far from 'oem' neither, if one gets busy with summing up what is standard or not.. Plus the wider lips on the RM-bbs'es. If we start about modifying stuff...

In the end, mine is still a REAL one, and yours is still a wanna-be. Taste is personal. The car itselfe is what it is. You don't deserve the title wolfsburg-edtion. And you know it. So don't
act to be one neither. thats just not right. This is a typiccal example with the type-badges from the early days. People that had a non gti version, putted a GTI-badge on it, and pretended to own a GTI..

Don't get me wrong, yours is in very good condition for it's age. And it's hard to get such a example. And so is mine. The nearly last gti edition one G60 that rolled out of the factory in 07-1991.

You can find your wanted blue carpet, once a while on ebay-germany.. and you will have fun
replacing the old one

My G60 was not leave the factory as Edition one, but I made him, it have all edition rear details ( black color LA9V , el. recaro seats, the blue enterior ( without the blue carept ) , edition badge on the fenders , edition badge on the hood, siglachrome side and back window-glass, bbs rims.

Ma car have every single detail of edition one ( except those deam blue carpet ) , the thing is that I transferred him and i think that he deserves to be called edition one. your car was left factory as edition one, but it iclearly seen that he misses a lot of oem edition parts ( the front grill, rims , badge on the hood,i door handle, rear and front lights.... )

Now my GTI, who is leave the factory as GTI G60 it is more edition one than your who leave the factory as edition one

My paln was made OEM+ edition one G60 , oem+ interior , oem+ exterior, oem engine with modifications , but still the original look . I think that I managed , and i think that this car deserves to be called edition one

As rude as he was about it, i agree. it's not a real Edition One. Just note as such (and don't pretend it's real) and we're good talking about his mods like it makes it not real, and you are making yours OEM+, which means it's not all right either

A question: A car runs into your car. Insureanceguy comes along. The value of the car will be
a problem to determine, as it normally is not equipped with the extra's it now is having. Be prepared for a BIG downer... As of payed-out compensation-money. Insure extra's, and be safe. Trouble is around each corner, in the big cities..

I was well pleased when my car was smashed 2 times in the side, and the insureanceguy phoned the headquarters about the dayvalue of the car. OOPS he sayed. A golf 2, THAT value ?!?
Yup, due to it's version it came out the first day it rolled out of the factory in Wolfsburg.

Over here, we see alot of foney car-adds. People CLAIMING to have a EDITION ONE. What is the
biggest downer, if you want to have a original edition one car, and you saved-up for it. Then when arrived at the car, and suddenly seeing/realising it isn't a real one... but a beefed-up car. Try to imagine what that guy thinks...

Don't interpret this as RUDE, as i had this issue 8x before i got my first REAL 16v edition one in reasonable 'original condition' into my hands... after MANY dissapointments via car-adds...

Then the chance came-along to obtain a genuine G60 edition one... i took it instantly. How
people style their cars, is purely taste. I think both cars look fine and will turn heads, when
they pass-by slowly, letting the G-charger whistle's it's note...

This is why i react this way.... seen too many 'nice' examples, but the real ones are SO hard to find.

A positive side-effect : they keep their value. It's not a crappy MK3-vr6 that is worth next to nothing.....

Have fun with your car, and DRIVE it ! (while petrol is still affordable).
