    Thread: DIY side skirts?

    1. 07-11-2010 05:42 PM #1
I haven't been here in a while, and MAN has it changed. Anyways, I remember a while back that someone had posted a DIY on some side skirts you could make from stuff you can buy at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Anyone remember this?

Or has there been a new thread about how you can achieve this? I went back to stock lips and I'm just looking for something to cover that gap in between the car.

i think the whole point is to improve the appearance of the car...

hes looking for something not over the top, im assuming to fill the rails between the front and rear wheel, without being so low that it looks out of place...

and because he is looking for a DIY im also assuming he is looking for something inexpensive

I used to have OEM ones. They actually are too low to rock stock lips and it looks goofy for the middle of your car to seem deeper than the front.

As far as cost, it doesn't matter. I just need to know what material was used to I could know what direction to go towards.

You think OEM ones are too low to have stock lips?? They are the same height as stock lips if not higher..
