Since the merger happened we WILL have porsche under VAG and a forum would be a good idea for the new models.

I also think the fact that vw motors have been in porsches since the aircooled days they deserve a sub forum.

Also, I have a 77 porsche 924 (also 931 in europe) that was built by VW on the stuttgart line. It was the first watercooled FE porsche and first total partnership built car between VW and Porsche. I'd love to see a subsection for these cars, they may not be the hot tip to a lot of porsche fanatics or vw nuts, but they are a bit of history. The 924 was going to be the flagship sports coup for VW, they went with the scirocco instead due to fuel economy.

I think there is valid reason to invite some of the porsche owners to the tex and start building a knowledge base here!

There are some of us who wouldn't mind doing that either. There are some leftover things to finish after the forum software migration, and maybe we'll think about it then.

I am quoting my earlier post about this.

Basically, in order to do this the right way, it would take a large amount of time and effort. Some of us would really like to see it done, but we want to see it done right, so have patience with us, ok?

    Thanks!
