For all those wondering what the police are like up here in the green mountain state, in Vergennes VT (22A/RT7) they are cockbags.. Do the speed limit that goes for RT22A in general, of course u get the granted 5mph over limit, but that is it. Burlington cops are cool, they only pull you over if they have/need to. They have better things to deal with (crack/coke/Hippies..), UVM Police on the other hand are horrible they have nothing to do so, go the speed limit on RT-2(Main Street), and UVM area.

Other local/VTers chime in if you have more to add

New Hampshire State Trooper suck, for those having to travel through that state to get here....Once you get on VT 89, things are smooth sailing until you get to Montpelier, then be cautious. Once in the Burlington area you will probably be traveling through Winooski (which is between Burlington and Essex where the show is)- be cautious in this area as the Winooski cops are looking for any reason to make the town some money....

you can be pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt (all passenegers) or texting while driving.

We do in NY too, but it fell off in NJ two weeks ago, and I just never put it back on. Might go out and do that before I head up there in a few hours.
