Ok so my car is going into development with an up and coming motorsports developer. In exchange, I get a free Turbo back exhaust! So I won't be able to make this Sunday, or for the next month for that matter.

Every thursday I realize more and more that I have a Volkswagen only because of the people I can meet having one and not because of the quality of the car... It was great to see everybody tonight!!!

Oh Steve Petty.. they just came out with a line of stuff, the biggie being an EXCELLENT quality downpipe for the 2.0 TSI. Unfortunately the fitment was way off.

Yeah I saw that too. It does fit but under tension. They said it fits their MKVI no problem. Have you heard of any others with fitment issues? There is a thread in the B8 A4 section of the 'zine that one member says his dealer also had a problem with fitment to an AWE exhaust. Should know more about that by Monday. But yeah, quality is top notch, check out these welds:

Yes, the welds are the best since the original Eurojet. Just gorgeous.

The reason they are claiming perfect fitment is bc they are going to their own catback.
On golfmkv they make it clear that the dp mates up to "their spm catback perfectly"

Well, not everyone wants a catback as well.. So that should be addressed regardless imo
