Guys.... There is no gas nowhere because the NJ refineries has no power so... It looks like we will have no gas for a few days, I was going to drive to the meeting but I remembered that I had no gas so... Maybe next week??? Maybe we should do a bicycle club??

Guys MK3vr97 because of sandy had problems in his house and his car its in the garage with the roof of the garage about to collapse over his car...
I was thinking we could go all of us there and help him to remove the wood and to bring his car out of the garage since he is a member of DoQ... Anybody up to go help someday this week?

Tim is not an official member of DoQ, but he is certainly one of our very good friends.
I'm willing to come thru and help him out for sure as soon as I get this gas situation sorted out.

I am waiting for gas... 3 beautiful hours already, I can see the gas station...

to fill my car and then I will have my jetta full of the precious oil again

i filled up before the storm. didn't have to drive to work all last week but still had to run a few errands and take my wife to work, so my tank lasted me for the week. i made it to work this morning almost on fumes and found a Shell station in Ossining that had a short line (30 minute wait). Could only get a max of $30 worth of gas, so I've got a 1/2 tank right now. using the gas buddy Sandy page, it looks like most of Queens is still out of gas, so I'm going to try to find another station up here in Westchester to fill her up before getting back home today.

UPDATE: Found a Sunoco in Westchester on my lunch break that had 93 and about a 10 minute wait... I have a full tank... for now. Hoping this gas situation improves in a few days when I expect to be looking for it again.

I'm not a member nor do I know many, if any of you besides seeing usernames but i would help if I can in some way, my brother would too. I'm free Thursday afternoon if anything. Hopefully not too late considering we might be getting some more winds this Wednesday.

Just got home....

long horible cold day! 13 hours and now I'm home.

Gonna to try and make it back in time for the meet next week. If you guys still need gas (93) I'll buy some containers and fill them up for you guys in jersey. I can only bring (2) 5 gallon containers. You can just pay for the gas and the containers at cost. DOQ members got dibs.
