    UPDATEEEE:

So first off I want to give a shout out to some awesome products: Forever Black for making my bumpers look better than all of yours, Seafoam for bringing all 16 valves of fury back to life (and im not even kidding about that), and Quick Roof (get it at Lowes) for being the cheapest and easiest sound deadener out there.

Anyway, there has just been a lot of small stuff going one, especially today because im getting Turdy inspected tomorrow (pray about that one for me...). Fixed my E-Brake, re-gluing a rear fender flare (Im trying 3M double sided tape as well as 3M Plastic Emblem Adhesive, not designed for bumpers, I know, but its pretty BAMF), and ive got to put some exhaust hangers on as well. I might even bring an extra set of mk3 steelies to put on the front for the inspection because I feel like I might run into trouble with: Subchapter E - Passenger Cars And Light Trucks, section (b) internal inspection, subsection 1, item (v) "The front wheels cannot be turned to the full right or left position without binding or interference." Yeah, thats gonna be a problem.... The full list of ridiculous rules and regulations that my poor car has to go through are here: http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms.../section_e.pdf

Anyway, im hoping that all goes well and that my car will pass inspection without a horn, working odometer, and in general just being way to low.... Im also getting ready for waterfest this weekend, upholstered a lot of things including my mirror, and rear tray side holder things. Painted my corrado steelie center caps to match the cream wheels, got a vapor shield on the drivers side door (IM STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SELL ME A GTI DRIVERS SIDE DOOR CARD!!! hoping that happens at Waterfest since now it cant be before then...), got a new steering wheel from a friend, and a bunch of other random stuff.

Here is some pictures to break up my rambling:
    Mirror getting close to completion

Quick Roof as sound killer, the stuff is awesome. $15 for 50ft 6" wide. Its only on my C pillars, but it will be everywhere soon enough.

    Rear side trays upholstered

    Vapor Shield how to:
Trash bag, Headliner spray, scissors. Thats all folks.

    Strip everything off

    Apply awesomeness. Perfect.

And finally, my highly desirable workplace: In front of my house with my neighbors tool set. Love it. Once in a while I get the privilege of working at a friends house, but this is where the daily grind goes down (or where the magic happens, depending on how you look at it).

I think thats about all. I hope to see you all at Waterfest this weekend and until then, be blessed.
Comments, questions, accusations, discrepancies, playful banter, hate, love, and help are all welcomed, thanks for looking!

Thanks I cant wait to get that final door card on, which will pretty much finish my interior, and to cut the rear fenders some moar (I should be able to go down at least another half inch, maybe a whole inch more), and then cut the front fenders and lower them as well. Im really loving this car right now, and im glad others are enjoying it as well

Thanks! Really exited about the interior, and its so close to being done (again, call for a drivers side door card...)

Here is the grille, Im pretty sold on it as of now, but I was thinking of going with a black grille with cream pinstripe. I have a badge-less grill and a quad round grille that I could do it to. Opinions on that? Anyway:

    Thanks guys

brown and cream is awesome. i have the HARDEST TIME trying to develop an opinion on this car, but i think the fact that it's so unique is awesome in itself. do what you wanna do, make the car what you want it to be, and f*ck the haters!

Honestly, you have to see it in person. Cellphone pics dont do any justice... But yeah, its definitely what I want it to be, who cares if other people hate?

I drive by your car almost everyday in my matte black mk3. Loving the stance on it! Wheel fitment is perfect. I do not like the grill at all though I'll have to stop by and say whats up sometime. My buddy lives right down the street and has a b4 passat wagon as well.

Still think you should do the quad rounds with the cream stripe. Maybe paint the center of this grille brown with a cream stripe...

Yeah we were doing the o2j shift box/tower swap into it due to his o2a shift tower going bad. Just have to put the exhaust back up and we're good to go

Awesome, that car is sweet, and I cant wait to see it back down on the ground and with some nice wheels 2 questions. Are you guys going to Waterfest Saturday? And do you have any experience replacing a right side tie rod(I even have the special tool needed to remove it, just not the experience..)?

Still think you should do the quad rounds with the cream stripe. Maybe paint the center of this grille brown with a cream stripe...
The quad rounds might just happen. The only thing is that it isnt badgeless, and I think the single rounds looks so clean... eh... decisions...

I work all weekend and I doubt that he's going. We haven't been to jersey for waterfest in a few years. Yeah I'm sure we could help out with the tierod. You will need to get an alignment afterwards though.

Hey, sorry, It has been a while, and a lot has changed.... As of now I'm at college and my car is parked at my parents, and is off of insurance for the winter because I wont be driving it at all :'( There are still things in the works though. I picked up a set of Bilstien PSS9's for cheap, which im not sure what Im going to do with yet, as well as some 165-45 Nankings that will be put into use in the spring. I was planning on doing a respray, but I dont think that is going to happen now; just too much going on. I will definitely do some work on the Turd during Christmas break, but until then, and after then until the end of school, not much is going to be happening... Sad I know, but the Turd will rise again. A sad and lonely picture as I leave...

Long overdue update: Its still not on insurance since I got back from college, but ive been doing some work on it. Cut bump stops and removed helpers = lower. under 20" gtf in the back, and I still need to sort the front out a bit, but it should be about that as well. 165 45 15 front on 15x8 and 195 45 15 rear on 15x9. Lip is almost on the ground Needs an alignment though. Also FS I just cant justify letting it sit for another 9 months while im at college again in the fall... anyway, onto the pics

Looks pretty good for crappy cellphone pics
