Well I'm back after a short stay in MK3 land. I sold the black bomber back in may and picked up a MK3 VRT. The car is scary fast and tons of fun but was never happy with it. So once again i'm back in a MK2.

First a picture of the first Big Red coupe #1 the 20v swap that I built a couple years ago.

and one of the black bomber

and one of the MK3 for fun

Now on the the new coupe.
its a really clean all original paint car. has a mildly worked OBD1 VR. Nothing really special. over all the car is clean but it needs some TLC. the paint is oxidized, the recaros are dirty and the bolsters are flat. Taillight is cracked, the single round grille is falling off and so on. The plans for the car are to clean up the paint/ trim replace all of the things that needs to be fixed, do a wire tuck/shave to the bay, get some coils and wheels. Ill be swapping the single rounds out for some smoked aeros. Pretty standard protocol for my cars lol

changed out the old busted taillights for some one from my mk2 stash. I also cleaned out the 20 years of dirt in the jamb and polished it up a bit.

    much better

    yeah gotta watch this one
    I <3 VAG
VegasJetta: LOL I just clicked that video and my wife yells from the kitchen 'is that a motor with no oil in it? Tell him to shut it off!'
DUBZAK: be gentle till you need to set the rings, then back it off a hair for about 400-500 miles. Change the oil, change again at 1,000, and beat it like it owes you money.

It looks like a Eleanor front bumper. I love 65-71 Mustangs. If I could afford a project like that, I wouldn't been trying to get into a MK2 project.

    all clean bare metal
