Well, it seems every other forum has one of these, so why not start one here.

My favorites are the Panerai Luminor Marina and the Submariner (worn by Steve McQueen). I threw in a watches from Wyler and Hublot. I see them in American Express Departures magazine each month and they look hella expensive. Let's see some watches!

Yeah, I noticed that. Is that a possible option for the Submariner?

Above are some of my favorites, but way out of my league.

Just picked this up as a wedding present:

I own a non-date Sub, see photos below. The Sea Dweller has date but doesn't have a cyclops. Theres no date window in that photo

They are still making non-date Submariners, but have recently become COSC certified. Mine is from around 1993, and the manual (and other things Ive read) suggest that the Submariners have a sapphire crystal. I think it was the earlier ones that had plastic crystals.

    My ~1993 non-date Submariner

I have that, only difference is my subdials are the same color as the face and the strap has orange stitching. I think mine is the previous year edition or it got changed for final production from what you show.

I got the McQueen display with it when I bought it as well since it was the last one in the company and they didnt need the display any longer.

Could be. Could also be an older Heuer (pre-TAG).

On a side note, after all these years, I had no idea that he was left-handed.

Yeah... not easy to read on the fly. Pretty sure its showing 1:51 and the seconds sweep is in the center.

I saw one of the Radar's in person when I was getting a replacement rubber strap for my BR01-94, pretty cool but not sure I would want to wear it all the time.

Really starting to want a Rolex these days (must be getting old) and always like the Bamford & Sons customs.
