That list came in handy time and time again when I had my MK2. Many of those links are dead though and many don't offer a decent selection of MK1 parts. I will take some time and look through and post any ones that may be of help.

But please feel free to post other sites that people may not be familiar with, even if the site only offers something specific that is hard to find.

I have had nothing but great results with Autohauz AZ

Excellent communication & not only is shipping fast as all buggery, they also use factory VW part numbers for items which makes it easier when searching.

I looked through the MK2 list, but many of those links are either dead or not very useful for MK1 related things. Most of them offer the same aftermarket and generic parts that many of the larger companies offer.

ive used both a number of times. mostly for hard to find fastners and stuff, but they have a decent selection of other stuff too. OEM part number search on there is particularly usefull.

I added BBM, BFI, Vintage Rubber, Performance Trim and MJM. ECS doesn't seem to have much on the MK1 side of things though.

List has been updated. The list is coming along quite nicely.

Ok, then I will break it up and slap all of them up there in different categories. I don't want an uprising on my hands.

Do they ship or have a good selection of MK1 parts available? You can't really get much info from the site.

    one for the thread:

OEM parts, but you will probably have to give them a call to get them since some of the stuff isn't on their site.

I know Autotech had a site specifically for OEM parts. The link I have for it that used to work is dead though.
