We include an ECS wiring harness with our fog kits, they are relay based and do not tie into the CECM like the OEM harness does. I suspect the kits from OEMplus use a Kufatec harness which may require coding along with pin changes to function properly.

It also requires a midline or highline CECM depending on whether or not you want the ability to have the oem bixenon headlights installed...

Correct, the OEM or similar style harness require the correct CECM, coding and possible pin changes to get everything installed and working properly.

To clarify, our ECS harness will work with all CECM versions and does not require coding changes.

The worst part of the install is getting the harness through the firewall...everything else is relatively easy...

Unfortunately we do not have any install instructions available currently, however as mentioned above, getting the wiring through the firewall is typically the most difficult part. I believe there are a few DIY's that go over running wires from the engine bay into the passenger compartment that may offer some insight.

Unfortunately we do not have any package deals available, but yellow bulbs are available separately.

Well, enough debating/researching- I think I'm ready for my first upgrade. Looks like the chrome euro switch is back in stock.

Unfortunately this kit will not fit the sedan models, but we should have kits up for the sedan models here in the next day or so. I'll post up and confirm once the kits for the sedans are up on the website.

Just got word back from the parts guys, we have things partially built into a kit, but we are waiting for our Mk6 Jetta Sedan to arrive so we can test and confirm the harness. It will be a little bit longer of a wait, but we want to make sure the kit is plug and play like the versions for the other models.

Unfortunately it will not include the Euro switch, it would need to be purchased separately, partially because there are a few different options on the style of switch.

Ah gotcha. So I'm assuming they'll be a switch and fog light kit for the 20111 S, then?

Correct, once we can confirm the wiring harness and fitment of fogs for the Jetta Sedans, we will be putting together a fog light kit that includes the wiring harness. We will also work on getting the available Euro switch options up on the website as well.

I can't say I've looked for it first hand, but I believe there should be an icon that lights up on the Euroswitch when the fog position is on. If anyone with this kit installed would like to confirm, please feel free to do so.

Hey Jon, I know that the fog light kit for the Sedan isn't out yet, but when it does come out, will it be approximately the same price as the one you have in the first posting of this thread? Also, will it be an easy install for an average guy like me who doesn't know much about modding cars?

    Thanks
