Yeah the previous owner cut the original harness from the Corrado at the firewall. I swapped over the motor(since it only has 4-5k since the rebuild) and wiring harness from my GTI. Had no luck getting it running on the stock Motronic ECU so I gave up with the stock wiring and bought standalone. Now I am rewiring everything because somewhere along the line something else is messed up and I can't figure it out. Figured it might be more of a headache rewiring everything now, but it will save me in the future when I slap a snail on the motor again. Trust me this might be my first Corrado, but it's not my first time working on a car.

i like that plan, i tried to ditch as much rado stuff as i could in my swap. Hopefully it saves me some headaches later. Just have to get a few more Bentleys.
      I think I'm hilarious.

      What molding?

And the door was primered this past weekend. No pics of it right now. Next time I go out there I'll snap a few. Ps It's cold as hell to do body work.

Speaking of body work, Hey Jason, get your ass over here so we can do the other side.

Been meaning to update this but I keep forgetting and getting side tracked so I'll update with what I have right now.

Got the driver quarter panel almost 100% done. I still need to wipe it with some finishing filler and block it one more time and primer it for real, but that will get done when I do the other door handle.

Also, I've been working on the wiring harness in my spare time. I've got it 90% done. I need to find some shielded wire locally to finish it up.

This is an older pic of the harness. I'll snap a new one when I finish it.

      That's all for right now.

Figured I'd do my tail lights all red and try my new paint gun out at the same time. 6-7 coats of duplicolor metalcast annodized red and 3 coats of zolatone clear.
