If your gas cap light comes on even if you think you tightened the cap, try pulling on the cap as you tighten it. Worked for me.
Help us with suspension specs!

Changed my HIDs. What's up with these H7s? Never see them on...can't get them to come on. It seems like my light switch does nothing... I'm clueless..I need to get a manual blasted previous owners.

found out why my car is making an awful noise after i lowered it...not the suspension, turns out my outer CV joint is shot and thats wuts been causing the noise . Im pretty new to mechanicing stuff but have friends that say they will help and that the job isnt that bad...wondering your guys opinion on should I replace just the CV joint (around 50.00) or spend the little extra and go for whole axle (100.00) while im under there
real bitch is im not super low so im guessing boot was ripped b4 and didnt notice and with lowering it it changed the angle of the axle and "exposed" the problem
Actually iirc you don't really have a choice in what to replace. I don't believe the axles on these cars are serviceable, so you have to replace the whole thing
Still not too tough, but it is a bit costlier.
Could have sworn they were non serviceable; but hey...
That's why I thought they were not serviceable; we had a hell of a time with it and it never fully sealed properly after... The CV that is, not the DSG or anything
- Buy a Spreader Tool or you'll lose your mind trying to get it apart.
- You will need XZN Drivers (Triple Square) to take the axle off the output shaft. I think it was 14 but can't swear to it...
- Good luck
