Took it for the first time on basically the only twisty roads within 20 miles following my friends G35 I think it's time to put the .:R on lowering springs

Weather warmed up here today and the salt dried on the road, so out for some fun.

Blow the cobwebs out of the 4" exhaust.

Glad the stock suspension I had worked out for you man. As much as you're happy with it, I don't think I could go back to it from my H&R's.

Washed her and hung up a Wild Cherry Little Tree freshener.

All of my used trees go in the boot / trunk and get hung from the bootlid. I'm planning on a whole dangling forest under there

I'm happy; and yet, I'm sad too...

I knew it was coming up, and it would be today... But I totally forgot about it as I was driving in this morning. It was pretty crazy too, it was like the car actually told me right when it happened... I was cruising along and just suddenly went "crap, how am I for gas...?" I look down and Wham! Watched it roll from 99999 to 100000 right at that second.

picked up some stuff from the dealer:

      1. laser iridium plugs (currently at 31,000 and feel they're ready to be changed)
      2. new belly pan, the rear portion of mine got crunched.
      3. filter
      4. revised drain plug, it comes with a newer style washer already attached.
      5. VW valve stem caps (blue and white)

      Rigi Cola.

I've only had it for a week and a half, so I'm still dealing with little odds and ends.

Both VW emblems were missing from the remotes when I got the car, so I ordered some R emblems off e-bay. Put them on tonight.

The steering wheel was slightly off center (to the left.) Pulled it off and put it back on, one notch to the right...perfectly centered now.

Seems like a lot of work for an off alignment

      Took maybe 45 minutes, tops.

I've done it before on an '07 Jetta I used to have. That one was off a little from the factory too.

The only thing that makes the R take a little longer is getting to the battery to disconnect it.
