I took her to our first VW get together today. It was @ the VW dealer in Reno. It was okay. There were 2 MkIV Rs there. The one is supercharged. He said it makes 260hp... Really? That doesn't seem like much to me. There was also a few really nice Corrados there. I've always loved those cars. Hopefully there will be a better turn out next month.

Oh yea there was a S8 too

It's sweet, better throttle response. I was debating for the longest between AFE, Evoms and Forge. In the end I chose the AFE b/c I like the oem look

What intake do you have now?

Got my 35k oil change...had the flywheel checked out while the car was raised and it has no play (no symptoms but just checking). Car running perfectly with no issues to be found.
Also, epoxied some magnets to my new (original) grille that just got its holes filled and is about to get wrapped to replace my damaged plasti-dipped grille.

A heads up to those in the SoCal area, I'm setting up a VAG family meet in Monrovia for 6/13 at 8pm. LMK if anyone here wants details because I'm probably not going to post a thread about it here.
If your gas cap light comes on even if you think you tightened the cap, try pulling on the cap as you tighten it. Worked for me.
    Help us with suspension specs!

Actually, it was on Saturday..... I was just mildly amused to see that the Blue Bunny showed up in the background of an image.

The R is an entertaining little SUV.

I finished the project of trying to finish the Cupra lip, the rear diffuser and the bumper scuff plate to match the front bumper and mirror caps. Ended up having the wrapped. The finish is close but not exact. I'll live with it for a while.

I thought I had that figured out. Guess not. Try again.
I have the pictures hosted on photobucket. In the message box, I click 'insert image' and past the URL of each picture into the dialog box. What am I doing wrong?

As to what you did wrong, no idea. If you go to the Image Page of any of your images, look to the right side, and you'll see a box labelled "Links." All you have to do is click on the one labelled "IMG Code" and then past it here...

I don't know PB, but some of these image warehouses deal with non-native links strangely.

Look over there for features like share, bb link, or HTML. Use those portal methods and try posting again here.

I think the rear looks great. I'd lose the cupra lip though, I just don't like how they don't fit right. Did you buy the mirror caps or do them yourself?

I bought the mirror caps about a hear ago. Some outfit in Germany - I always forget the name, but could look it up. Perfect match to the front bumper.
