I have no blinkers or hazards on my car and have replaced the blinker switch, relay, and fuse. Reading some of the archived posts mention blinker fluid....is this a joke or real? If its real, where can I check the level for it? My only other probable cause seems to be the bulb cassette in the rear according to others that have had the same problem...

Don't listen to the idiots in here...they're just trouble makers.
Don't go to the dealer because they overcharge for it. You want to go here to get quality blinker fluid.

If you think your blinkers need fluid you should not be working on your car.

I only use Redline High Temp blinker fluid because anything else overheats in my car
I got mine at Pepboys but any auto store should have it. And you can check the level with the little dipstick by the transmission

If you are gonna use that stuff, be sure to mix it with some sae g25 like Mobius said to gain optimal performance. That should get you up to 2 million blinks
And be sure to break the fluid in by driving in the fast lane with your left blinker on for a couple of miles.

I'm thinking all these years of working on these cars and I never heard of blinker fluiid....how can that be?? This can't be real! LOL Anyway, I have no blinkers, the hazard light just lights up and doesn't blink...stepping on the brake makes no difference....any suggestions on what to check next?

this is like in the army when we would tell the new guys that we inventory our mattresses and that he needed to bring his mattress to the officer in charge to give him his mattress serial number![]()

Good luck finding the fluid... I know it's in artificial short supply right now, meaning they have lots in stock but they don't want you to know that so they can jack up the prices. If you go to your auto parts store and they tell you "there isn't any" or something like that, you must DEMAND to speak with the manager and make sure you get that blinker fluid. About a month ago I was driving all over town trying to find a place that had some... as I was walking into the Autozone I saw one employee pull some off the shelf and hide it in the back. Needless to say, I was furious when they told me they didn't have any RIGHT AFTER I SAW THEM PUT IT AWAY. I would have ordered the Kaleco stuff but I didn't want to wait for shipping.
You can check for leaks by looking under the car.. there will be wet/damp spots under your blinkers. Feel around for moisture, etc. If you find a leak you might need to replace the seals in the housing, or the housing itself.
Good luck with the blinks![]()

or if your in a hurry instead of replacing blinker fluid, you could always do the car to plane swap.
