That's sad to hear, where did you buy the clutch? If your brother had purchased it from us we probably could have had it warrantied.

They're good enough to get our customers into the 10's, but not good enough to handle 5000KM's, sad to hear, who is your friend with the 1.8T? I'd like to see some pictures of his failed clutch

he bought it from a local shop called Strasse, they told me warranty was 90 days. He put the clucth on on may last year drove the car till october then it was in storage till two weeks ago.
As soon as he started driving it there was a loud metal sound coming from the trans,he dropped the tranny and noticed the clutch all screwed up.

Maybe it blew up from sitting too long, that's pretty uncommon though.

    Dear Santa,
this Christmas I would like the followings:
    A shiny new flywheel!
    ....
Ok here's a scoop guys, Rudolph developed a drinking habit (that red nose isn't magic...) so Santa had to switch to a Eurovan diesel for deliveries. Unfortunately it's pretty cold around the north pole and Santa has no electricity to plug his van in. Save your car the deception when she finds that out on the faithful morning and order from www.ctsturbo.com , we ship everyday, worldwide and no matter the weather!
