      Hey all,

We've had a lot of requests to get the AUTObiography section back up and running lately, and since we loved those pieces so much too, we decided that we're going to give it another go.

But in order to do so, we need the most important thing... content. And that can only come from you.

So, here's the deal. Here you can find a Word document that contains the questionnaire (it's also quoted in plain text below to combat compatibility issues). Fill that out, grab your favorite pictures of your car (or take new ones if you're so inclined) and send them to me at tom @ vwvortex.com.

At the moment there's no real sense in how quick the turnaround will be, until we see how big a response we get, but we'll keep you updated. The current plan is to run one weekly, and we know there's enough nice cars out there to support it.

So if you think your car has what it takes, or is just something other readers will be interested in, send it our way, we'd love to see it.

      Tom

If you submitted yours, it will go up. I'm currently sitting on around 30 submissions to be put up. So it will take some time, but will happen.

Again, every submission will happen unless the submission guidelines were not followed. The inly limiting factor is that an A/B only goes up once a week, so it will take time for them to all go up, but they all will eventually.

American and German, with a little JDM.

Who helped you build this car?

Time and patients, to source the right replacement parts

Who has been your biggest critic of this project?
      My son

What do your family and friends say about this car?
That it’s looking great! From bone stock to what it is now.

What is your most memorable/humorous/embarrassing moment with this car? Passing a Dodge Challenger at a buck 20, then coming around a bend to pass the path of a highway patrolman.

As I'm a college student, I don't really have too much money and as a result my vw doesn't have many modifications. But I'll post it up anyway.

hey guys i need help Asap!!!! i have a Volkswagen jetta 2001 1.8t wulfsbug edition, i have a Hks Blow off valve with and intake, i just put a boost gauge with a manual boost controller but i think i installed wrong my controller or either my gauge doesnt work right. i run 8Psi stock, am trying to boost up to 12, i adjusted my controller to get those 12 pounds, but there seems sum wrong, my gauge reads 12 and starts downgrading to stock 8 i dont know why, maybe i installed it wrong or i dont know, when i installed the controller my turbocharge had a vacuum hoses comeing out from the wastegate that went back to the intake and another vacuum hoses that was comeing from the turbos nipple to sum air valve, i took those two vacuum hoses off and plugged them with a screw since i didnt know where to go. Can someone pleasee help me by telling me if i installed it right or if one of yall have done this before the right way can yall tell me how? i would try to attach sum pictures so yall can see what i did with my work. thanks
