Thread: Magnaflow Cat back kits CHEAP CHEAP!

  1. 08-19-2010 06:04 PM #1
Hey everyone, i havent been on the forum in a while, i spent some time away from my VW, and getting some school finished up. Im back now and have my business up and running, and i was able to get a wholesale account setup with magnaflow. I get deep discounts on ALL magnaflow parts now, and everyone on this forum was so kind and helpful to me every single time i had an issue with my V-Dub, that i would like to return the favor. To the moderators, i am not marking these kits up from what my wholesale is, i am just trying to help out some of the awesome people who helped me in the past. I also have to maintain a "moving stock" in order to keep my wholesale status with magnaflow, so in that sense, it does help me as well. All prices reflect 3% added on to cover the paypal fees on my end, and INCLUDE shipping. Anyways, here goes
    98-05 new beetle 1.8t and 2.0l kit number 15648 $399
    02-05 beetle 1.8t kit number 15745 $402

What's the difference between the 2 kits? I have an 03 Turbo S, so will both kits work?

Sorry for the confusion, the 15648 kit is for beetles without bumper cutouts, and the 15745 kit is for beetles with bumper cutouts.
    Thanks

Now is as good a time as any! If you already have Magnaflow however, keep in mind your kit is covered by a lifetime warranty!

Does your price include shipping? I see them online for $430 with free shipping.

Yes, as state in the first post that outlined the pricing, shipping is included.

The question I can't get a straight answer to is what is the correct one for a Turbo S? One of the two has a down and out while the other is straight. The TS has a down and out but cut out, so will the straight pipe work? That is one reason why I haven't bought one yet.

Edit: Just saw that your car is an 03 in your sig. Does the rear bumper of your car have cut outs in it for exhaust tips, or is it solid in the rear with no kind of cut outs?

    Hey Flamin',
All Magnaflow warranties get handled through Magnaflow directly. The distributors don't handle any of that stuff. If you call Magnaflow directly, they will issue you a RMA number, and let you know how to handle getting your replacement taken care of. If you would like me to get your 2 litre kit ordered up for you, however, feel free to let me know.
    Take Care,
    Matt
