You'll need a lower offset than that I think.

Any long time use review for H&R Super Sports on stock shocks? Have yet to see someone say that they actually wrecked their shocks. Thanks!

I have neuspeed sports on stock shocks, from what I've read and how it feels with my springs, I'm pretty sure super sports will be terrible on stock shocks.

Makes me kind of think I should have gotten Koni coilovers instead if it's that much to install.

Heh that was a long time ago, I ended up going to a different place in town and got my springs installed and an alignment for like $370

I've gotten some other stuff done at the other shop though and they really know what they are doing....in some instances it's probably worth the extra $$ to pay for their experience.

I noticed that the GTI and the Golf both have different part numbers for lowering springs. Besides the weight of the car being the difference (which shouldn't be much) what else is factored into the difference of the springs.... if there is any.

Can i use GTI springs... yea... but do i want to?

yes, but not sure if the suspension makes any difference since the gti and golf use different shocks

Koni STR.T shocks and struts are the same part number for both, so maybe going to aftermarket strut changes a couple things. O well just thought I'd throw that out there if any golf owners had experience with gti springs...

anyway, I'll get my golf on here when I get my cupkit all together. I would love to see some more SS or race springs with staggerd wheels on springs.
