great man. you solved the all in one serpentine belt set-up for the 16v.
what cranck pulley or harmonic balancer did you use?
how do i order the serpentine belt?
do you have a car or engine model that uses it.?
did you get the pictures of the fog light set-up?
interetsed in trading some headlight washer nozzles fr the pulley fo rthe power steering pump?

the serp set up is from the mk3 golf i jus fabbed the w/p & the p/s to fit
the serp belt is s'pose to be available from ur local parts house i dont know which car uses it ...i just pulled a string around the setup crimped it and sent it off saying that this is the length i want (thts JMA for u ) jus quote this code 5PK-1575 i.e the belt code its universal
nope i didnt recieved the foglite setup....not in junk mail either
    heres the address rad_vw@yahoo.com
i have been trying to find another suitable pully.... but i mite strike oil 1st theres this guy that can build them for u .... his name is Issam N. Abed
    here's his address AIM:issamabed
    MSN:issam_abed@hotmail.com Yahoo: inaengineering@yahoo.com
    Skype: issam_abed
    and his thread ....
    http://http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?3490925-***-Serpentine-Belt-Coversion-KITS-ABF-Adjustable-Alternator-Solutions-***
this thread was my inspiration ....but he will be better able to make them as i am trying to find another of those pulleys .....gimme till next week if not give him a call

so by using the mk3 serpentine belt set-up; did you mill down the pulley because it is free or very easy for you to have acces to a machine shop?
because i do not have that luxury and want to see if there is a dircet drop in for the harmonic dampener .

!!!!!!NO!!!!! nothing was milled...... evry thing is bolted on as it comes from the MK3 golf.....the only mod i did was to the bracket the last hole to the top of the bracket (where it goes over the w/p i had to make a bracket ,put a bolt & nut thru the hole and turn it towards the original anternator bracket piece that bolt onto the front of the block also this is what it looks like

see the bolt ??? thats the bracket i made cuz the 9a block does not have that extra bolt hole as the ABA blocks ...thats the ONLY mod evry thing else is as it comes off the mk3 ...o btw i left off the small V-belt pulley(dont need it....bump)

ahm if u dismantle a vw ECU its some what "moisture proof" but i have found a "spray " that is for marine applications ...... dude sprayed it on the internals of a TV and literally put it in a fish tank while playing ....gonna put in on my MS

i have started wiring up the mega squirt ..... but i got sidetracked .... a friend of mine came to the garage a week ago with his 92 peugeot for me to service and i realized a big problem with volkswagen from that era ..... the wiring from factory is nasty .... in the peugeot u cud hardly find a wire loom any where ... only wir prominent was the spark plug wires......so i have decided to neat up mi wires pix will follow soon .... i have reach far but i have a tropical storm to deal with .....
    I'LL BE BACK .......

i have been busy trying to earn some food ... now tha i have a li'l slack period time to work on the car ..... i have been rewiring the car..... cuz vw makes a messy wiring job .....its coming along quite slow but sure ..... i have turned my attention to the injector area these are the stock injector cups ....now i realize ppl go out of their way to find /get g60 injector cups but that is not necessary i have used back the stock cups w/ a li'l modification plus they resist heat much better than the plastic cups
    this is b4

    this is after

now iwill commece building the fuel rail and i'm gonna be using digifant injectors...
back to the wiring ...need to build a relabox for the engine bay as i'll be putting the battery in the cargo area

i realize the the CIS-E motronic does not come with a '109' relay so i had to install 1 myself to power up the megasquirt so i used a standard relay socket and made the loom .....here are some pix

i installed my own clamping diode ....so i can use any relay for the ECU & i'm also powering the injectors from this relay (i think).... i haven't decided as yet as there are alot of circuits in the fusebox that can do this ....just need to find out how much amps a set (4) of injectors draw
    the diode

    heres the MS so far

stay tuned .... doing a li'l rerouting in the fuse box planning on putting the battery in the cargo area and installing a relay block in the engine bay .....STAY TUNED
