while waiting to buy the software 4m TUNERSTUDIO ..... i have been busy ....ported a g60 throttle body ...modyfird my front engine mount bracket .....& the likes ...photos coming soon ....

original mount ...saw my friend broke 1 of these ...so decided to look a stronger 1 if not make it stronger .....planned to use the 1 in the upper left ...it comes off a automatic transmission ...need to c if it can work ....

being boxed ...it was much stronger .....& only 1 hole was out of alignment ...just had to slot it .....

the little hole to the right of the long 1



ground off the weld that holds the nut on the inside ....



measured the diameter of the original hole ...center punched the space besidre the hole & started boring with a small bit 1st then went to a bigger 1 as i progressed



looks better ,stronger ...now i know i can go faster ....lol 4got to take pic of the other 1 mounted ..but it wasn,nt stronger ....

have patience ...have alot of work in the garage..especially 1 where i am converting a van 4m diesel to gas .....PITA....2 months & counting ....evn have to be building whole circuits...now have to be facing a tropical storm/hurricane

Fixing up the grage after the hurricane more like expansion ....even building a powder coating oven ,still have the infernal van conversion ....electrical wont work properly ....soon sort it ....& i'll be back on my project ....

I'm not sure about the hubs but I think it's pretty F'n cool that the power of the internet and globalization has enabled islanders like you to share your automotive creations. I'm building a megasquirted 16V but I think I might beat you.

yup u might ......cuz i'm rebuild ing the whole darn car ..... but i'm gonna start tuning the engine soon as soon as the backlog of work is out ma garage & i can spend ma money .....
i wud appreciate if we cud share .msq files .....it wud be nice

still here .....just a bit depressed .....bought the mk4 hub to fit ma big brakes on ma b3 ....only to find out that it cannot fit the spindles ....it binds against the edge ....it cost me 10000$ ....thats alot of moolah 100$US ....so i'm a bit depressed ...& scared to spend to try another 1 ..but i was told that i need the 94 vr6 corrado hub ....but scared to try ..as tht is 13000$/ $130US ....!!!!DAMN!!!!

I now know that i need the corrado vr6 hubs ...so i am gonna get them .....FYI ...no "good" machine shop here in JA.....in the mean time i decided i needed a fuel pressure tester .....but cannot afford the 100$US for it ...so i decided to make 1 ....


here is the gauge off a old air compressor .....


mated to a "T" fitting ....

getting over the frustration of wasting so much $$$$ on the wrong part .....& also concentrating on building the garage & doing the work to fund it ......in the meantime my friend made something for me for me .....
