Or I'm willing to trade 16'' alloy wheels for the Aristo's and some cash (preferably Montreal II/I's, LeCastallet, or Raves) . Must have good all weather tread, or possibly even studless winter tires.
One tire worn more so, due to toe wear.

Black Leather Recaro Desk Chair - 800 OBO
I have a perfect condition black leather Recaro desk chair for sale. I bought it at speedware a couple years back and while its the best thing I have ever sat in, I need to let it go. These retail for over 1700 bucks and thats without the extra base. If anything ever goes wrong mechanically you would have an entire replacement.
I am happy to drive this thing to your house anywhere in the Eastside or Seattle area.
Its time for me to let the Harlequin go.
1996 VW Golf Harlequin #99
This is a certified Harlequin and is listed on the registry at Ross VW's site.
The chassis and transmission have about 190k miles on it.
2.0 Engine has 111k on it, it was swapped in at 89k miles.
The previous owner had already done the timing belt on it.
What it has:
Mk3 Stubby Mirrors
Replacement OEM hood to come with, current hood has a small dent on the passenger side.
Used Replacement OEM hatch to replace the dented hatch from a tree hitting it.
Dent has been pulled on the quarter panel already from where the tree hit it, and has been primed so it won't rust.
Before I bought it, there was a dent on the driverside rearend, right below the tail light. For some reason a lot of mk3 golfs have damage there, this has already been pulled partially out. It will need some more finishing work.
Front and rear bumpers are pretty done, they look ok though.
The body isn't perfect, but I have done my best to keep it looking descent. It does have all the normal dents and stratches for being a 15 year old car.
New VR6 Strut Bearings
Newly installed R32/TT Control Arm Bushings
Newly installed ball joints on both sides
Newly installed CV Axle from Raxle on the passenger side
Engine / Transmission
BFI Stage 1 Motor Mounts
Diesel Transmission Mount
16v Pressure plate with 8v clutch disc and lightened flywheel. Done at 89k, when the motor was swapped.
GM Syncromesh Transmission fluid put in at time of swap.
Coolant system flushed and Dexcool Coolant replaced with it.
Wilwood 4 Piston Calipers with 11" slotted rotors
Rear Beam / disc swap out of a mk3.5 cabrio. Had 50k when installed, about 5k miles ago.
16x7 Mille Miglia Wheels with Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tires: 205/40/16.
GLX Door Cards, right passenger rear has some scratches in it.
Stock Harlequin seats in overall good condition, driverside does have the normal wear, but no rips or tears.
Momo Benetton Steering Wheel and Shift Knob
Upper Glovebox, needs a new latch.
Headliner is in ok condition.
VW Rhapsody Radio
MD Quart Rear Speakers
Front doors have Alpines in them, I think.
Overall the car is in good condition, it does have its rattles from the stiff suspension and motor mounts. It is definately not perfect, but it is a clean title and it has been a really solid car for me.
Power steering works, but there is a leak right below the reservoir.
Exhaust Manifold gasket needs to be replaced, I don't think it sat right when we replaced it.
Driverside cv axle is starting to make some noise so it will need to be replaced.
Exhaust hangers are old and therefore the exhaust tends to rattle from time to time.
Body issues that I have already mentioned.
Asking $5500 obo. I have seen stock harlequins with rear frame damage go for close to $3000, so I know this is still a good deal.
1996 VW GTI VR6

-Smoked E-codes, with an uninstalled HID kit.
-Euro front lip
-I have a badgeless grill that is not installed that will go with the car.
-DE Shift knob and a Momo steering wheel
- Old Panasonic deck
The car runs and drives very strong, has had nothing but synthetic oil changes and 92 octane gasoline from reputable gas stations. (no albertsons or costco gas). The car has always been garaged and been taken care of since I have owned it. I have been commuting with it for the last couple of months.
-The car could use a paint job, there are some misc. scratches here and there, NO DENTS or Dings
-The airbag light is on due to the steering wheel stock steering wheel and airbag come with the car.
-The check engine light is throwing a code for a misfire, I have since replaced all that I can think of to fix the issue and it is still on.
-Front wheel bearings are getting a little worn but I already have the bearings to replace them.
-The Drivers side window needs a new window motor.
I am willing to drop the price to 3700 without the corvette sawblades.
Here is a video link from when the car was being put back together
If you would like more pictures please don't hesitate to email me.

I picked my Rover up last summer and every thing has been great except it's too small.
Currently has 172k miles on it and it runs okay. (does not like idling while cold tho)
4.2 V8, AT, transfer case VC works along with rear traction control
Air suspension replaced with OME springs/shocks
Less than a year on new trans cooler lines and radiator hoses
about 4000 miles on Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires
New Rotoflex joint on the rear drive shaft
Did great last year in the Mt Baker rd mud pit, and all of the logging roads that I could get on to
Comes with spare third member and complete front axle swivels and axle shafts off a disco 1
copy of RAVE manual on DVD (includes Range Rover Classic, P38 and new Range Rover, Discovery I and II, Defender and Freelander my01^)
Not so good stuff
Does have a few leaks...It's a Rover..
It has a few electrical issues.. CC/front marker lights inop, heated seats have broken wires in the seat bottoms, and the power seat switches are kinda funky
Muffler needs to be replaced...has a rusted out dynomax that sounds mean.
With that being said, I have taken the Rover off road several times hence the scratches/dents and missing bumper caps and tail light guard on the passenger side. (still have the tail light guard)
No, I have not taken it to Walker Valley or any other OHV area, but from what people have told me it would do fine.
It would also be perfect for taking up to the mtns with 3 of your buddys. (way more rear leg room over the SWB) and it does a pretty good job at towing isht..Pulls my 21ft boat fine, and when needed, other cars.
Am also willing to trade for a 85-91 3/4 ton Chevy Suburban 4X4

This car is located in Portland, OR and is mostly a parts car. Car had 120K original miles, when I removed the motor/transmission. I need this car gone soon or its going to the scrapper! Make any offer!
*Tornado Red exterior in great shape, the paint still shines. All exterior pieces are available!
* VERY nice dark, gray cloth interior. There was "house" carpet remnants on the floorboards so the original floor mats and carpet never saw the light of day! Very clean. The only missing parts are the headliner (sagging and torn) and the shift boot (a few small holes).
Parts that are missing
- Engine and Transmission (wiring and EVERYTHING ELSE is there)
EVERY OTHER PART IS AVAILABLE (headliner and shift boot were worn, so I threw them out).
The car is located at The Werkstatt in SE Portland:
9032 SE WoodStock Blvd,

Drop by to take a look at the car or PM me for questions on certain parts. I'm willing to let the car or the parts go for super CHEAP! Thanks!
