That all depends on where you're located. We are shipping these both from our facility (South Texas) when we have stock and from Magnaflow directly (Southern California) between times we replenish stock from running out. We take 1-2 *business* days from the day you place your order to ship and Magnaflow also takes 1-2 *business days from the day you place your order to ship. I do believe you called this week and we got you squared away. If that was not you, then simply send us a PM with any questions and we'll help you out.

Has MagnaFlow fixed the problem that exhaust only comes out 1 tailpipe yet?

I loved the Mustang setup, but until this is fixed, I have passed on the R32 piece until it works correctly - to me an important issue.

Please let me know if this has been corrected.

This is not something that Magnaflow is considering to be a "problem" according to Derrick at over there in their Southern California office. This particular system flows through a y-pipe and has no problems (back pressure issues, etc.) at WOT. He said that it's not out of the question that maybe you *might* feel a difference from one tailpipe compared to another at idle, but that's it. Derrick has went on to say, that even then, that is not an issue anyone at Magnaflow has heard of and nobody there has taken a call or complaint like that on this particular kit until now - when we called them this afternoon. Who here is experiencing this and is there a thread anywhere about it we can reference?

page 2 of this thread mentions tip problem and there was several threads about it, of course I can't locate them because I'm at work...

I am somewhat OCD so the 1 tip blackened would be a deal breaker... I do keep them clean, but I just don't like the idea of it doing that.... and MF has responded to this complaint in other threads before....I will look for them this weekend.

We use MF at the race shop for Mustangs, Chargers etc and systems are awesome.... I like their tips for our car best of any...

A "tip" problem, as in fitment of the tips coming out of the rear valence or an issue with exhaust not flowing from both pipes (which is what I understood from your post above and is NOT the same thing).

And again, Magnaflow has stated they have no complaints or calls whatsoever from dealers or customers alike about anything like this on THESE PARTICULAR SYSTEMS IN THIS THREAD. Now if you're referring to some Mustang, Nissan, Audi or some other non-R32 model, then that very well may be true, but we are not selling those systems in this thread. Moving forward, please PM me your phone number so we can call you to find out exactly what is it you're referring to, as your posts are a bit vague, incomplete and a little confusing. A lot more can be understood over a telephone than via text or messaging. Thanks.

The problem with the touring is simple fluid mechanics and if magnaflows engineers don't understand it...

I have the touring. I love it. But I clean both tips once a day before I leave for the morning with a paper towel so this problem doesn't materialize for me.

I was clearly NOT referring to a Mustang, and I wouldn't be caught dead in a Japanese car.

My comment was I liked Mustang systems, which we use extensively at the race shop.......

Systems have nice looks and always power gains on the dyno.

Admittedly most of the cars are turbo cars, but even NA cars respond well.

I haven't found the threads, but someone on here better at searching probably cn point you to the thread.

It was a long thread and yes, it was the Touring version and MagnaFlow posted in the thread if I remember correctly.

Crux of complaints were that only the right side exhaust tip had flow thru it.......
While not a big deal to some, I didn't want to deal with it.

I decided to wait to do any exhaust and still am.

The system you are selling may be updated, I was merely trying to see if the issue was corrected, no reflection on you guys at all.

Once again, "Derrick" (we're name-dropping here for good reason) at Magnaflow is saying that this is NOT a problem they've ever heard of. Short of calling them directly (like we did last week) for some info on this, we're not sure what else to tell you or what you'd like done. What WOULD make a lot of sense, though, for someone who is apparently dead-set on getting to the bottom of this (like you seem to be) would be to call "Derrick" (or any of the other reps at Magnaflow) and speak directly to them on the matter. Again, they are telling us no so much problem has been reported to them like this for this particular vehicle. We are here to help with any technical data we can, answer any and all questions we have on this product and generally monitor this forum to assist you and give you the best service possible. Moving forward, let's try to keep this thread clean of chatting and conversation, as that is typically how you see threads that are a mere 30 pages long with not a lot of info about the product other than chit-chat that hogs bandwidth. If there is anything in particular that you'd like us to do here that we haven't already done on this matter, feel free to PM us and we'll make it happen for you. Thank you.

I have the same issue on the A3 3.2's exhaust. One tip much sootier than the other. The issue seems to be that all the OEM exhausts that has twin tips have mufflers that are one in and two out, where the splitting of the exhaust are done internally with equal venting to both pipes. But the magnaflow seem to use one to one muffler and have some asymetrical splitter in very confined space that doesn't allow for equal splitting of air to the two tips.

CitoMortis, excellent side by side comparison of stock vs sport.

Any chance someone has a side by side comparison of stock vs touring?

just as an fyi to anyone buying this (the sport version at least) please do yourself a favor and make sure you have plenty of clearance from the drive shaft right behind the muffler.... it may rub\grind and cause you issues down the line..good price mjm
