This, unless they are a real high offset and you dont necessarily need that much stretch you could do the 215/40 & 225/40 route

BTW, I have 45 series tires on mine but that's just for added ride comfort and for a little more protection on these wonderful roads here in Miami.

stick to 40 series tires. I bent the crap out of my mitos running 35 series tires on them. how much stretch do you want? the more stretch the lower you can roll and you dont have to worry about tires getting hung up when you air out.

215/35 on a 10" good luck with that.

well the fronts im not too worried about since they should tuck. id like the rear fenders to sit inbetweeen the tire and lip of the wheel. i also live in Boston so rolling lower isnt a big concern either

i ran a 215/40 on a 10.25" rear in Boston. I highly advise against it if you're going with a quality wheel you don't want all jacked up.

      I'm noob. Please help.
Is 225/40/18 good on 18x8, 8.5 or 9 without stretching at all? Preferably 8.5 or 9.. I'm not looking for aggressive but I want more volume instead of my 7.5 inch stock rims.
My mk6 gti is on stock height and thinking of dropping a little bit like a inch with spring.
      Thanks!
