      recently got my mkvi, now im slowly sourcing out parts and just wanted to be sure before purchasing.

      17x8 et36 would mount on with no problems? thanks in advance,

      Are you lowering your car?

      If not that offset should look alright. If you plan on lowering it...you can go for a more aggressive offset. I have 17X8 et25 rear and 17X8et20 up front. But that is also with a stretched tire.

      But that offset and size will fit regardless.

      hi there i'm planning to slam my mark6 on xl's front and BY classics back, but i'm gonna rub for sure on my 225 tires on 8" wheels, what tire size do you suggest me ?

      Mmh, just called the guy to sell my tires >< but you have smaller sidewalls i think, my tires are 225/45 r17, so ill be lower with smaller sidewalls and a stretch right?

      yeah, and even 215/35 on an 8 isn't stretch either. now a 195/40, that might get you into modest stretch territory
