Thread: The Fitment Thread

  1. 05-07-2012 08:51 PM #1646
    I'm noob. Please help.
Is 225/40/18 good on 18x8, 8.5 or 9 without stretching at all? Preferably 8.5 or 9.. I'm not looking for aggressive but I want more volume instead of my 7.5 inch stock rims.
My mk6 gti is on stock height and thinking of dropping a little bit like a inch with spring.
    Thanks!

So camber wear is starting to get to me.. Can I just switch the fronts to the rears? I'm on a square set-up so I'm guessing I can, I just want to make sure I can.

yeah I was wondering about that too haha. the (Humme)R looks good tho, even stock. someday I'll be able to contribute pics of my own "fitment" in this thread instead of just compliments
    and snide remarks

Hi everyone! Could use some assistance...please

I have a Golf R; I'm looking to put the 19" Tornado wheels on my car that come on the new turbo beetle.

    Size: 19x8 et48

What tires do you all think I should go with so I'm not rubbing?

I do eventually plan to put coilovers on the car.

    Thanks in advance!
