I love this show, the new character Richie freaks me out but I love him, the sniper scene was sooooo good. I'm really surprised this thread doesn't have more participation.

I am watching and really liking the show. I think the main characters have been developed and its picking up pace.

So glad Capone didn't show up when one eyed Richie was around. He would have made him feel like **** or called him a freak or something stupid.

So the mother of what we believe to be Jimmy's son (he thinks it might be the photographer) is getting money from Nucky? I am pretty sure that's what she said in between the clam diving session.

Why would Nucky burn the house down after that guy fixed it up? Did he plan to all along or did he decide to do it after he saw this father in there? I mean it looked like he was well compensated for his loss.

So the NY/Philly gangs are trying to muscle in on Nucky's action and planning to knock over the casino.

Next few episodes should be good.

It is called Corporal Mortification or Penance. He is obviously highly religious and possibly even Opus Dei. This is a way for him to cleanse himself of his sins and impure thoughts.

Maybe, but at the same time though with what Jimmy had to deal with in Pearl and Al's son, I can see Al being a little more compassionate towards the afflicted.

Yeah she did, we just have no clue why.

Probably because with his father there and the house being back to normal it was too strong to hold back the bad memories and so he wanted the house and those memories to burn up. I don't think he went there with the intention, but when he saw the paint thinner or whatever it was, something triggered the deed.

Well, if Nucky is Jimmy's father... that right there would be reason enough - Nucky's providing for his grandson.

I got the impression from the last episode that if Jimmy's wife was going to sleaze around with anyone behind his back, her getting pregnant would be a bit... ah... difficult... biologically speaking.

Jimmy's wife said she thought he would have sent something for Tommy, so he must be the father.
Jimmy and Richie scenes were really good. This show keeps getting better

The preview for the rest of the season looks amazing!
      Jimmy and Nuck's reuninion...
Chaulkie getting sent up to NY to kill AR
Nucky having to prove his muscle...

And I'm very curious to see how the NY and Philly gangs are going to roll for the rest of the way.

Didn't we see him stuff some cash in an envelope for them in a previous episode?

Aahh, that's who that was. I didn't recognize them.. and so I missed all the dialog 'cause I was poking trying to remember who they were. Getting money from Nucky? Good thing I came to read this thread.

I was getting a little cold on this show, but stuck with it. Glad I did. Richie is great! I love how he took out the scum that cut Pearl w/ the same shot he said he tood out the German sniper with.

After the previous episode, I didn't realize the blood was so bad between Nucky and his old man. I'm sure Nucky seeing that knot board he made as a kid in the burn barrel, and then having the guy say it was the stuff that his dad didn't want, really tore it for him. I was honestly thinking he was going to bash his head in w/ that poker.

Anyway, tonight's episode should be good! Hopefully more scenes w/ Tommy's mom!

I just caught an episode of this last night in a hotel room. Will they be putting it out on DVD in the near future?

Im almost totally caught up (just missing last night's episode). Im glad I stuck with this too... because this show rules. I definitely need to see that documentary now and get a sense for how much of this is historically accurate. This was such a kick ass era to live in (if you were lucky enough to be a rich gangster).

Who's paying off the other agent? You would say Nucky, but he didn't even know about the Western Union telegrams that were getting pulled. It was Nucky's butler's inquiry that informed the perv agent about the missing telegrams.

Yep. One of the Philly brothers was trying to assassinate him (per their conversation with Rothstein). The old German guy saw what was going down, and hit the shooter, spoiling the shot which hit an innocent female bystander. The German dude then pulled his own piece and gunned down the shooter.

Three episodes left this season??? Argh!!! I hope they don't pull a Sopranos and makes us wait two years for it to return.
