FOR THE RECORD.........

I planned on doing the precision build long before Ryan or Nick or anyone else thought about going with precision. The problem has been $$$. Nick and Ryan went with the 6057..... That was the turbo I was originally gonna use. Since it is no longer manufactured I'm going with the 5857. Also, I was making plans to use these turbos while Ryan was running around on his 30R. And had numerous IMs with Nick about my plans and he went and got a PagParts kit.

If I had my old PMs from the old vortex and they were available I would post my conversations with Arnold from PagParts.... As a matter of fact I think I have the E-mails I can post later tonight.

Also, before anyone on the vortex even talked about the billet ceramic wheeled precision turbos on the 1.8T thread I was already talking about them..... I'll find the post later to show you bozo....

LOL when you and I were discussing these Billet turbos on IM, and you asked me questions about valvetrain ect.. I already had the PTE 6057 sitting at USP waiting for install. I just didnt mention it until it was all done, and dynoed. I was familiar with these billet turbos for a while being that AWD Motorsports (used to be right next door to USP) had been using them successfully on evos.

I see your project is coming along nicely by the way, and that you are using some nice parts. Hope you make some nice #'s and represent! When do you plan on having it all done?

So back to my build. Thanks for the positive comments. Yeah I'm hoping to make some big numbers.... Right now I'm waiting for a bunch of parts that should be getting here this week and next. Then the 2nd baby comes along, after that I will finish the engine build side of it. Tubular exhaust manifold is being supposedly being fabricated (for like the last 2 months LOL, slacker Luis). After all that then I need to get the turbo, wg and bov. Waiting on some money for some work I did to get them. Last will be the tune. Time frame was supposed to be this month but my wife's employer shut down last month so that income disappeared. We'll see. Hopefully before the end of the year.

i was acutally reading that thread not too long ago...
man and i thought it was cool when i heard that some turbos used ball bearings rather than fluid bearings to support the turbine shaft

Indeed. That's why I find this so amusing. You and I both know that the first rule to composition is about highlighting and making your audience focus on the specific point you're trying to showcase. In this case the coils on the car, correct?Presentation is key also right? As video says " you can polish a turd but it's still a turd", and by that I mean at least drying the car off. (since we want to get all technical and stuff.)

My point of this is not to bash anyone or anything, or as butt hurt Rony would say of me "to get all high and mighty about my work."

So lads, this is why I state that I challenge your statement that everyone would have produced the same kind of images in that scenario.

Attention to detail, it separates the mediocre from the good.

I know. This is getting ugly real fast.

I personally would have at least dried the car off, but that's my opinion and no one asked for it, so this will be my last post in regards to the topic.

The camera, no it's still here. Haven't really posted it anywhere for sale. Might trade it for some gold mesh wheels for the bimmer but money talks.
