I agree with the one Guy, a stance idea is to gain info and be able to ask. Not to see a page of pictures, then ask a question, and people want to get mad... and research involves asking others opinions..

i agree with you, but there are certain topics like the Raceland / Rokkors quality, how low do they go, how do they ride, etc threads that have been cover a million times, and a 30 second search will yield you hours of reading. no joke. those of us who have been on here for years get tired of answering the same questions over and over again. as i said earlier, i felt like being nice and answering your questions on here because there is too much bickering on this page anyway, and i would rather not have this thread locked.

As luck would have it, my adapters (20mm allaround) came in late today (thx fedex, u suk) and I've no time to troubleshoot ride height etc. But here's what I've been working toward, and harassing you all w/ Q & A about...







Specs: Raceland coilovers, rolled fenders, Corvette Salad Shooters 16x8.5 with Hankook Ventus 205/40/16 up front, 16x9.5 with Hankook Ventus 215/40/16 in rear.

Disclaimer: I know the rear end is too high....and the front is likely to come up a bit. And the wheels are intentionally mounted in the direction you see...not because I don't know better...lemming.

That's actually the direction the wheels pointed on the Vettes, so you're doing it right. Wagon looks great. I wouldn't mess with the ride height at all.

My red Passat still has not been located, nor has there been any word on parts from it up for sale.

It's gone, I've settled with my insurance company (thankfully I didn't lose any money), and have moved on to another boosted AWD VAG wagon.

I would like to own another G60 Syncro wagen again in the future.

its not technically stanced... yet. but this is how it was sitting until the other day when i had to put it in winter mode. should be stanced come spring, after i get bigger lips and refinish my wheels

with those salad shooter, you need at least 20mm of front spacing otherwise you'd have to grind the caliper

You are my hero and inspiration with those Santa Monicas. My dad used to have a black TDI B4, and I just drewl every time i see this one. He got a blue one to replace the black one that got totaled, unfortunately, and now I have the blue one cuz he got a B5.5 TDI sedan. Super clean, man!

that's a 205/40? Time to switch to 512s and dump that thing.
