OR it might be because you have skinny low profile tires on a car that's not low, causing to have more wheel gap then it should with normal sized tires

There is no wheel gap. Even if there was, the tires fit the wheels and the wheels fit the car. Dude has 17" Vette wheels on a skyjacked b3 with 335/85's.
