I believe the difference is HIDs and Halos.

For Halos, uncheck Bit 6 in Byte 15.

For HIDS, I am pretty sure you have to uncheck Bit 2 on Byte 11

Yes. I don't have Xenons, but I an pretty sure there is a Xenon section on equipped cars. It is in there somewhere.

Anyone know if the problematic TPMS light in the 2010s can be fixed via VAGCOM?

My 5 tires are all at pressure, but my light has been blinking after ignition, then staying solid for two weeks now. I've posted in 3 different forums looking for help, and hate the though of having to see the dealer every time this happens...

    Thanks for any info!

IIRC, you can use VCDS to set the car to monitor the TPMS via the ABS sensors, like the 2011+ cars do. Not sure if this will fix the problem but it's worth a shot.

I don't think the 2010s have the right ABS hardware to do this.

Is there a way to change 2010 GTI TPMS to work with ABS like the 2011 GTI?

Ok was trying to get it so that after some one opens the door with the key out of the ignition I can still roll the windows up. Its really annoying when I am in the middle of rolling them up and my passanger opens the door and it kills the power windows. I unchecked BYTE 4 BIT 4 where it says
power windows/sunroof disabled after door opening, but it did not work. Everything else I wanted has worked. Windows up/down with key fob. DRL option in MFI. 2011 JSW TDI.

This doesn't make sense. Have you checked the MFI for any Window options? Mine is set to All under Convenience and Window Op. The choices are Off, All, and Auto. If that doesn't make a difference, do the following.

    Check BYTE 4 BIT 4
    Exit and Do it!
Open and close the doors and then lock with the remote.
    Unlock with the remote
Fire up VCDS and uncheck BYTE 4 BIT 4
    Exit and Do it!
Open and close the doors and then lock with the remote.
    Unlock with the remote
Check to see if it now works.

I have read, and experienced, that locking and unlocking the doors after a change (before trying the feature) makes the change stick for some reason.

I am not sure about an '11 w/ kessy, but I would start with the MFI/MFD. I believe it is under Convenience>Doors.

You don't have a rectangular screen between the speedo and tach?

    Check this out.

If this link doesn't work, search for "Access settings menu" or "Episode 50".

DRL toggle via MFI works on my 2011 Golf TDI (US). Once it worked, with my e-brake released I can literally turn the light on and off by mashing "OK" on the right side of my steering wheel. Cent Elect info for what its worth:

    Code:
    Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels: 1K0-937-08x-09.clb
       Part No SW: 1K0 937 086 L HW: 1K0 937 086 L
       Component: BCM PQ35 M 104 0615
       Revision: 00104 AE

There is no MFI in 2011 Jettas. Well it's very basic and there is no setup menu. I am looking for long coding stuff. Anyone?

Just replace "Byte 3" in instruction 5 with "Byte 5" and you will see that screen. Follow all of the other instructions though.
