Plus the thing looks like it'll never get wrecked. I'm not rough on my watches, but you can't see any blemishes on this thing and I don't expect I will be able to down the road either.
I showed the black one to my wife on the web site last night. Maybe santa will bring it.

Wondering how the OP has made out with his ceramic 42-20.

I love my regular 42-20. To say its built like a brick ****house is an understatement.

I just noticed this new Nixon Automatic II - 44mm, dressier look. Swiss made, all solid steel band. $1000 retail. Really like it.

Expose your cracks and love will fill them.

It's holding up great just like my other Nixon Elite watches. I might be done with Nixon now though, I have 3 of them - I want to kick it up a notch and get an Omega and a Tag.

Actually I hate the fabric strap it came with. I'd love to get the metal one they're selling the Magnacon with now.

Its heavy. But if you want a watch that can take a beating, you will not be disappointed.

I have 2 Nixons and I love them. They aren't as nice as that but I started with a Manual and then moved on to a Banks.

If you go to Timezone dot com you can see all sorts of used watches for $1500.

My friend is a watchmaker, Archer Watches, who has a few different pilot and dress watches for inside of that pricepoint too.

I love my Nixon's hence the reason I have 6. Where did you pick that up for $1500, I've been looking for a 51-30 ceramic.

This thread is 2 years old, I don't know why people keep bumping it. I got it on eBay but the seller has left the site since.
