Nothing big, just bought these wheel lug bolt covers in grey - http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Pass...Covers/ES3320/

and thought they would look better with my color wheels instead of the black OEM ones that I lost. Happy even though its minor

installed and R36 dead pedal(finally) made the glove box latch in carbon

It's a little messy but here is winter already. I will post a DIY on this, but can someone tell me where in the forum it will be appropriate to do that.

I took the uhaul hitch that came on my car OFF (weighs at least 30lbs). I also installed OEM exhaust tips.

Lubed the door seals with Krytox in order to get ready for winter. At the same time I got rid of the creaking noise that came from the door

I also smeared some at the junction between the vinyl seat cover and the hard plastic seat base. That area was also creaking when I moved on the seat. This stuff works amazingly well on most of the annoying sounds inside a car !

With the pipe installed for some reason I feel like I have or gained more torque. But it could also be the combination of the motor mount insert. All in all a good mod. Gas mileage has gone down a little but maybe its from me just a little harder on the gas and love the power....

Got my 30K service done from the dealer today, in addition to replaced the cabin/pollen filters, and having the tires aligned. Paid more from the dealer than I was expecting... but then again it was the dealer so I should have known

No noticeable vibrations at all, in fact I feel better response from the motor.

The black pipe comes from the intercooler to the throttle body. The stock one is a little restrictive and this piece from Neuspeed opens it up a little bit with better throttle response less laggy feeling.

Not to disagree with the above post and just to give another perspective, most notice a slight increase in vibration at idle or in reverse. More noticeable on manuals I have been told as I have an auto. I definitely do notice an increase but let me say that it is not enough to annoy or outweigh the smoother shifting you get from this upgrade.

Gave my ride a bath w/ some ICE suds, Bug N' Tar removal on the front/side view mirrors, Tire Shine (on hubcaps lol), vinyl protectant to the outside edges of the tires, and Rain-X'd the windows. Wanted to wax it again but ran out of time. Will probably get to that either today or possibly Friday!

Vibration at speeds over 60mph, took it to the tire shop, they balance and rotate, told me that alignment was off, it was done almost a year before, but they said it should be done every 6 months? now the tires are worn bad! noise is loud.... no more vibration dough.. but tires? suck! I bought them a year ago! I will hold them for little bit more and see what happens... in the mean time...

    Finally! I put LED Strips!

I thought you weren't going to get 345mm front brakes? I guess when the price is right....

now I'm wondering... if I made the strut mount look like a Toyota strut mount... would the install be slightly easier???

I know, I know. But they were almost cheaper than buying just lines! Plus, they have tons of pad and rotor surface left (only 15k miles). Maybe someone will eventually development a floating, lightweight rotor for the 345mm brakes.

I'm really digging strut mount inverted that way. There's no doubt that would make the install way easier. I'm just not sure they'll be enough threads left for a nut after coming through the mounting points inside the bay. Definitely let us know if you decide to give it a try.

It's going to require different bolts in the first place. The strut mount bolt is not fully threaded.

    It is a m8x26 (has a 8.0 marking...assuming it is grade 8)

Very cool man...excited to see if you can get that worked out. I know tons of MKV and B6 guys would love to make that part of the install easier. Definitely not fun holding the strut under the car while trying to thread those bolts through the mount tops. Good luck man and keep me/us updated on how it turns out.

Also, thanks Ben! Excited to see how they fill out the front R8 wheels (they desperately need something larger) and how much the additional unsprung weight affects the car's acceleration performance.

There is a know TSB about your A/C stinking. Take it into dealer and tell them about the rotten smell they should perform an air ionization through the whole duct and car for like an hour, it fogs your car and removes any mold or mildew in the system and voilà no smell.

It's a full TBE. I woulda taken pictures of the downpipe but I couldn't really get under it since I'm lowered and forgot while it was in the air. It's made a huge difference the motor just feels alot stronger now and the full APR intake pulls ALOT harder now as you can hear the air spool up it's definitely worth every dollar I scraped up lol. And yes that's a sweet 4 case!!
