Filter fit fine i believe my intake is either a 2.75 inch or 3 inch. But the link for the filter is below. Dont notice any decrease in performance and I also logged my g/s on vagcom and seems to be getting correct airflow.

    Opened up.

Found some time today to install it!

Was apprehensive about this before it came as a lot of people were saying no chance but I'm happy.

I'm not in love with how the outers came out so I'm going to do them again (my fault not the tints) so I'll need to order more. If you do it perfectly 2 orders should be enough... Order 3.

Not a fan at all, think it just makes them look so cheap, sorry man. Think if it was gloss finish or even painted same colour as the car then it would be much better!

Pics don't do it justice but I added the nut tree upper trim today. I was going to wrap the whole thing in brushed titanium but decided to buy the nut tree upper pieces and will wrap the lower as soon as my vinyl comes in this week.

Installed a new set of Conti ExtemeContact DWS 235/45R17s to replace factory GY Eagle LS2 that made it to 65,000 miles. My god has the noise level dropped dramtically. I had no idea the tires had gotten so loud. I actually heard wind noise for the first time in a year. Also had a bluetooth call on the highway without yelling. The turn in is so much better.

Only downside is I bought a used E46 M3 ZCP on Friday and now the Passat feels like the softest, cushiest, laziest 1970's caddy pimp-mobile. The steering feels way to overboosted, eseats feel like a lazy-z-boy.

I still pulls great though and in gear, in sport it pulls pretty similarly to the M3 until about 6K rpm where the M keeps pulling to 8K rpm.

Unit is great, I'm answering because as said above, its the exact same!

http://youtu.be/z00odxlQ9UU this is live tv, it was recorded on my phone and then youtube compresses so not the most amazing quality but gives you a great idea!

As for the GPS, great signal, I've mounted my antenna behind the hazard button, when the unit is out there's plenty of space behind there, as for updating it, tones of maps, support and help online, all free.

I know a lot of BT go with k04 or garrett turbos
Its very similar to the Garret turbo, there a little more expensive @ ~1400$ for a ball bearing turbo that is rated at 590 HP, its in between a GT3071 and GT3076 from what I've been told. being ball bearing it spools faster and its the same kit tht they are using in there house MKV that's now just under 500whp (they have improved the tune since the video)
