Got it back the other day from getting a dent pulled. Unfortunately it was right on the body line so it's not gone completely but looks a whole lot better.

Before:

Sorry for the bad pic, but the dent was baseball sized and is that strange reflection right above the body line.

After:

It looks completely gone there, and for the most part is. Ecstatic with the results. My friends dad hooked me up, 75$ for the pull and he had it detailed in and out. I did pick up this while the car was at the dealer tho:

I know it came from there because I noticed it as soon as I got in the car and I would have noticed it before, plus, it's a car screw. Big faced with a torx pattern like the ones on our bumpers and other various places. No biggie though.

I caught a piece of metal with my right rear tire this morning on the way to work... swapped to spare (full size, thanks vw!) and then stopped at the dealer (Sutliff) on the way in to see if they had what I needed/wanted in stock. Dropping off tomorrow morning for 4 fresh conti procontacts. They have a deal for buy 3, get one for $1 going on right now which was almost exactly the same price as tirerack.com + my local shop.

I guess the good news, if there is any to have is that I needed 4 new tires anyway, barely passed inspection a couple of months ago.

After backing into a concrete pillar some months ago and putting a 3" scratch on the rear panel just aft of the tail light, I got it fixed today, good as new.

Tech at the body shop commented that I must love my car "cuz it's the cleanest passat I've ever seen. "

Sutliff came through for me again (thanks Kerry!) - 4 conti pro contacts and a full alignment for just over $900. I forgot what it was like to have tread on my tires - and they are so much quieter than the Eagle LSA2's I had before.

Thats a pretty good deal for 4 Contis. They are nice tires.

Installed a pioneer avic d-3 with PAC harness and swi module. Got the buttons to work on the 2011 cc steering wheel I installed last week.

I painted the 'i' inside the 'individual' badges on each front fender.

Perfect paint match too, since I had a scratch repaired this week and got a bottle of the extra paint.

Drove to CT today (4 hr each way) for these babies:

The fronts are immaculate. The rears have a scratch on passenger side back and dime size hole on drivers side seat.

Question for all you gurus.....My 08 Passat is a Komfort edition and does not have passenger power seat. This set has it. Would the plug be there, or do I need to run power? Also, what size bit is that for the seat bolts? It looks lie Torx possibly. The biggest I have is 50, and is too small.

those look amazing to bad they are not gonna match your interior, the corn silk is a lot lighter then the beige that comes on our model

I know that they wont match...but i dont care. They are mainly for comfort and style. Besides, wont be able to tell unless inside...my windows are tinted.

Swapped out my HPA Motorsport Dog Bone Mount for the 034 Motorsport Mount, just did the lower and much happier now. Really cut down on the undesirable vibrations at lower RPM's while the DSG is engaging.

Those seats are pretty. I have the same front but all black. I wish my rear seat had the center console though instead of the mass of black leather.

That made my day! Finally have the Xenons installed.
APR tuning made a huge difference on this old 100000miles engine! Last week had also all injectors cleaned, together with the Intake manifold - need to do that more often!
Next weekend should be able to install my new exhaust!

Waiting for my new black front grill!
In a process to make this car a MACHINE!

Had to have my A/C replaced, and since my front end had to come off anyways I went ahead and upgraded to the S3 intercooler.

Saw a nice little bump in my boost pressure. Went from spiking 20 & holding 17 to 23/20

Did you get it? Did you install it?!
What is the transmission on your car? - manual, full automatic or tiptronic?
Ones installed, can you re-install the plastic engine cover, or the new intake is on the way?!
How is the performance with this new intake?!
