when you go k04 just grab a CTS turbo K04 with the dv machined to be on the turbine housing (like the K03) No DV relocation kits needed

CTS doesn't have the DV housing onto the compressor housing (the exhaust gas drives the turbine, which drives the compressor)

As I mentioned earlier... APR does this modification to the K04 turbo.

Thanks Bsick and Bill....am addressing issue shortly. Still a newb at this new turbo. Would i have done a lot of damage driving it a few times at low boost setting??

I have the metal pipe kit that came with turbo from KMD..so that connects to throttle body pipe. Is this how boost is read, then released by dv?

Installed a new Air filter today. Was $14 shipped on amazon and is made by 3a racing rofl. Fits like a charm on my ABD Intake. Did not like the Open large K&N Reuseable filter they shipped with the intake.

Also Installed the new Red top Coil packs from the V8 Audi

@aleremb1 Yeah thats another little touch ill be doing. I'm actually going to be getting rid of the oil catch can and doing a eurojet block off plate for the pcv and more than likely rerouting the rear pcv line directly into the exhaust (diy in the 2.0t fsi forum) Who knows how bad that is for the exhaust but screw the environment I guess.

Eurojet Grenade DV and relocation kit came in today from another vortexer. Waiting on the boost tap I need from also another vortexer so I can get her all set up

@Vinny - what are the benefits of runningbthese coil packs? Just decoration?

Also, saw a pic of the Eurojet grenade dv, that thing is sweet. What color is it?

Somebody kindly pointed out that I had posted this on the wrong thread - so here are my latest additions. Sorry if you have already read this on the "Show off your car" thread...

Well the kit arrived and looks good quality, the exhaust muffler also looks nice. Like I said it will be a few months before I have them installed as I have to do a trail fit, then get the body shop to spray it etc. I’ve also got to drop the car a little to finish the look.

I’ve put some photos of the kit that arrived and the sales photo of what it will look like installed. Does anyone know if someone else has had this fitted and if there are any photos?

Has anyone got any ideas of how to finish the car or look?

Finally got around to replacing my license plate bulbs with the error free Led's.
Looks good and I'm happy with the brightness, they're working fine but just hope they last.

Thank you so much for the photos. I thought I was the only one with this kit. Your car is looking good. Have you lowered it yet? Are they 18" interlagos wheels?

Have you any tips or things to look out for on installation? I can't moan about the quality for £130. The fibre glass needs a bit of a rub down in places where it came out the mould a bit wrong, but as I won't be fitting it for a while I can spend plenty of time prepping it.

      Thanks!
Yep 18" interlagos , I dont think I will lower it tbh just dont want any problems the skirts make it look low anyway.Well you will need plenty of patience , I can not give you much advice as i was actually watching the mechanic do it for me.. However he did mention that he did not fiber glass the lips with the bumpers as it would crack off after a simple tap instead he used a seal.

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer if i could.

So the kit was glued on? Or bolted and glued? I think the advice sounds like 'get a pro to fit it'?

I've put the kit against the car and it looks a good inch or 2 deeper than the standard body.

I've got some eibach springs arriving on Monday which will lower it 30mm but I am a bit scared, and understand your thoughts about not lowering.

I love the wheels. Is yours a 1.9 or 2.0 diesel?

Have you tinkered with the passat badge so it says 'ass'? Lol
